The day of the appointment arrives and he had me waiting there for 45 minutes. I go in for a consultation and he makes me a colposcopy first. Lying down with my legs open, he tells me that I have lesions and he has to do a biopsy to rule out HPV, obviously I got scared. He told me it was 2,200 more than the cost for biopsy and analysis. I had extra money and I agreed, imagine that they tell you that and you are already in the procedure because they are going to say yes. He did a biopsy on me and told me during my check-up that if it came out that I had HPV, one of the procedures is to burn the lesions. I am super scared. The previous days were horrible bleeding and despair. A week passed and no results. I wrote him by whats and he told me the very funny that they still hadn't taken my sample to analyze... ONE WEEK LATER!!!!!! It obviously took a while and he sent me some results from his pseudo-laboratory and according to what he had HPV. Since I had gone to another city, I couldn't go to a follow-up appointment, but that was what, thank God, saved me from falling into the hands of this girl because I was sure I would have been burned in the office. I spent weeks looking for a consultation with her online and they were always long, crude messages with no lack of professionalism. Until I decided to go to another gynecologist who was my angel. He did a new pap smear and colposcopy and what do you think... no lesions, no hpv, naaaaada. I spoke with this doctor and told her about my experience and she told me that there was no point in sending me for a biopsy, which is something I didn't need if there were no first signs by colposcopy of anything to do with HPV, but that we would wait for a pap smear and based on that result act... and what do you think! A week later, a papanicolao result and she is clean and healthy. This dr has no ethics but she does want to get money... I lost a total of 3600 with her but above all I am calm. They have recommended me to file a complaint with CONAMED because their laboratory seems to be very bad. I'll see what to do but I want to alert everyone so that what I experienced doesn't happen.
