★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En la antigüedad fue llamada el cruce de "Cuatro Caminos" o el Crucero, La Glorieta de Cuatro Caminos o el Crucero desde tiempos inmemoriales ha estado ahí esperando ver pasar los cabalgantes, ganado, arrieros, para la comercialización "El trueque" quienes provenían del Norte con Ixtlahuaca, Sur con tejupilco, Oriente con Toluca y Poniente con Amanalco. Es a donde cruzaron las antiguas culturas matlazincas, los nahuas, mexicas, otomies, etc. Todo tipo de comerciante, transeúntes con o sin carga, el gran paso que tenían que estar salvando por el recorrido del Tren el Périco, como antepenúltima parada, penúltima en la Huerta y final en San Juan el Grande.
