★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple, clean place a short drive from town, Don Ciro has the best gorditas no doubt. The variety of fillings rotates some daily, and all are delicious. If gorditas aren’t your thing, you can have the same options in a taco or quesadilla. Really nice cafe de olla. They do not serve alcohol, so if you gotta have cerveza with your gorditas, get it to go. Don Ciro himself is happy to converse if he’s there, and he’s a good storyteller in Spanish or English :)
