Gran Hotel Alameda - 20190 Aguascalientes

This hotel is an old French Quarter. The gardens, the rooms, the patios, it all has a strong French feel. You will love it.

I went to the bar and had a great time with my fellas, not noisy great for a good chat and drink. The carajillos are exquisite.

The service and food are excellent, the rooms suppers, the staff very good trained, I when over there for work with the para-olimpic team of Mexico as a translator, because the have a international competition from INAS.

One of the best places to stay in Aguascalientes City. The service is always great and the personnel does their up most to provide costumers with a wonderful experience. Prices are definitely reasonable!!!

I have been here many times and its just a classic and a must for at least one stay in Aguascalientes. Old building and kept in great shape. Food is traditional and tastes homemade. The service is also respectful and assertive. Well located with pool and gym in house. EDIT **** After a day at the hotel i must say that i am disappointed not only as a guest but as a customer renting a conference room. The coffee break which i pay for in the conference room ran out of coffee and water many times making me to go out myself to ask for more interrupting my lecture. During lunch break i ask security to lock the conference room so everyones belongings are safe until we come back. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for them to lock the door. There are way to many internet connections depending on what part of the hotel you are standing at, making you switch to one another continuously; a very poor and inconvenient setup. I have rented the conference room for the weekend ( sat and sun) and also made reservation to stay and sleep at the hotel. Upon my arrival i was told I have a room just for one night and told me they were booked. No common sense on the reservation and events department... My only options were to find another hotel to sleep or pay for a master suit. I went for the master suit paying the difference and the reminded me that on Sundays breakfast is not included (which at the moment seemed like an insult after all the trouble of switching rooms i went through). The master suit is exactly the same basic room with an extra huge living room (bigger than the conference room i rented for my lecture) no bigger or nicer bed, smaller tv set... Maybe the square tub in the bathroom which is made with the same tile floor... Looks uncomfortable and i dont want to find out. I used to really like this Alameda gran hotel back in the day... I Was told they change management, maybe thats way it did not fulfill my former expectations. Not coming back no.

The service it's ok, small rooms, good food and good location ?

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely Victorian establishment whilst in Aguascalientes for a conference. Staff are exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, while not modern with some lacking conveniences, this was overcome by the charm and excellent food. The restaurant serves a varied offering all very good with specialty dishes that are historic to the area. The bar is well stocked and has an accommodating patio or lawn area to relax and enjoy refreshments.

After experience a bad hotel experience at Quinta Real, we decided to changed hotel and checked in at Gran Hotel Alameda, and this hotel was superb, from the beautiful Porfiriato period is absolutely stunning and comfortable. This hotel has it all for a pleaser stay and is definitely value for your money. Thank you to the very friendly stay, the city of Aguascalientes definitely redeem it self with this hotel.
