★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! It's one of the best hotels that we have ever been. only 1 block from the beach and great kitchen inside the rooms!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is okay and good for the price. The staff are wonderful, with the exception of the general manager, who was rude, shouted and sweared at us for supposedly breaking the toilet flush, which they “fixed” 3 times, and for which we had complained from the moment we checked in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soon after checking in we reported an issue with the flush as it wasn’t working. The guy at the reception fixed it but it stopped working as soon as we tried again. The next evening sone guy changed the pump but in the morning the bathroom was flooded.
We asked help from the guy at the reception who claimed he was the owner and he went crazy, blaimed it on us, called us names and said we’d be fined for it. Eventually the plumber came and fixed it again. Wouldn’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had 6 rooms booked for a family trip, we all got there a different times because of our flights. Every time we went to get our keys for the room and pay there was always problems. They didn't take debit card, the payment had to be done within an hour... etc. Finally I was able to make the payment but it turns out they canceled our reservation so we had to pay more which is ridiculous. The payment was made before the time they told us but still booked 2 out of 6 rooms. The "manager" came to talk to us, which he is a joke. We thought he was going to help or at least try to resolve the problem but instead he was an a**. After not getting 2 rooms for that night and sending a couple members of our group to an AirBnb for the night because they didn't have our reservation, they wanted to charge them extra for the night. Anyways the hotel is nice, not the best location but it's fine. The cleaning personnel is great, but we won't be staying there again because of how unprofessional de "manager" was. Instead of helping he wanted to kick us out or charge us more. Also the few days I was there, about 5-7 people complained to him about getting charged more or not having there rooms but it was always the same outcome. I would recommend spending a bit more money and staying at a different hotel so you don't have to go through what we did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel option in Playa del Carmen, helpful caring staff
Walk to the main action (shopping, restaurants, beach), but yet away from the noise. This is a great hotel, with clean rooms, a rooftop pool, a view, and breakfast. The Front desk staff is friendly and more than generous with their time and advice. Ana and Santiago have such good energy and are very friendly. Above all, excellent communication skills (English and Spanish), close to everything. Be sure to check out Martina beach club, and eat at Amichi Helados y Delicias (best chorizo and Carne sandwiches).
The manager is always there and is a fantastic gentleman. Thank you for a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our rooms had no windows. Felt like prison. No daylight, only one tinted glass window that was locked and made it darker. Didn’t feel like suite at all. Pool area was nice but that’s about it. The beach access offered was appalling. Not looked after. Please consider asking for a room with windows at least if staying there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place had the most amazing staff and owner everyone was so friendly and helpful! They also spoke very good English which was helpful when I needed someone to translate for a urgent situation.
The rooftop pool was amazing, great view lots of space :) free breakfast was a ham and cheese sandwich on white bread, coffee, orange juice, milk, and a banana (it was ok)
I booked through Airbnb and my host was very hard to get ahold of as well as I was in a completely different room then booked, we were on the ground floor off of the lobby and I did find the room very dark as the ‘patio’ is about 4 feet then a wall, and front windows are facing the lobby, but we needed a room with two beds and the balcony room they had only had a king and sofa.
Air conditioner worked well, water was always hot in the shower (only half of a shower door though so it was hard not to soak the floor)
Cleaning staff did a excellent job! Although didn’t understand English so it was very hard to explain to come back later ?when we were still sleeping, maybe if they add a little sign or something it may be easier.
This place is a street or two over from the beach, and they do give passes for a free chair at a beach club but they were never available there and the staff at the beach club just want you to rent a bed for more $

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for two nights and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The great customer service by every member was the highlight of our stay. The staff seems to really care and make this a great experience for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, but not right on 5th street so it's quiet unlike other hotels that might be directly on the street. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room included a small kitchen and breakfast was included which consists of coffee, glass of milk, orange juice, ham/cheese sandwich that was brought to your room upon request. Will definitely stay here when we return to Playa.
