The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the service was absolutely amazing. The pool facilities are great and you can't beat the view! I loved that there was an adult-only pool option. Hector was our server out by the pool and he is an absolute GEM. So incredibly attentive and kind, he took great care of us every day and made my birthday trip so special. Carlos (our waiter at The Grill) also deserves a shout-out. He was wonderful too! My one note would be that the "all-inclusive" option is probably only a good value for a short trip. If I had been staying any longer I don't think it would have been worth the price, considering how many great food options are within walking distance.

Let me just say if I could give the hotel zero stars I would. I booked a week vacation with my husband at the grand Hyatt and booked and all inclusive package with the hotel. When I arrived to the hotel they told me that I did not have an all inclusive package and that the reason my confirmation said all inclusive was because the name of the hotel was grand Hyatt all inclusive package. They just didn’t clean our room at the second day! We didn’t have water nothing! We called 7 times to request water to our room wow they just never sent it to us, The worst room service ever!!!!!!!!! And in the breakfast they didn’t have even room inside to the the place to eat, they just requested people to eat out side in the worst weather condition!! With all my heart they just don’t worth the money! Expect of nice pool there is nothing there !! Really not recommend at all !! Thank u for worst honey moon !

This place is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed. The hotel was really nice and close to so many things. Amazing. I loved how we felt 10000 miles away in paradise but then you can walk to the busy center of Playa del Carmen in 2 minutes. Really the perfect location. I also feel like they may have built the space to have a wind tunnel so it’s never hot there. There is always a breeze. Also, I got the BEST blowout of my life in the salon. I have curly hair and the woman magically made my hair survive the crazy humidity. I am forever indebted.

This hotel is the best rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down. This hotel is so gorgeous! There are so many pools to choose from, the decor is flawless, and it somehow manages to be both right on the beach and in the middle of town. 10/10 we are already looking forward to booking our next trip!!

I couldn't ask for a much better experience. The staff are always checking to make sure everything is perfect and anything I call the desk for is brought up quickly. I stayed here twice within a month in the grand suite I think it was both times. The room and view were amazing. The all inclusive package is definitely worth it with the spa, four restaurants, and unlimited free drinks even those ordered to your room. I will always stay here when visiting PDC. Also... Ricardo at the front desk always went above and beyond to see to my needs.

4/5. Great staff. Noisy room. This place was great! Unfortunately you can't sleep in because of cleaning crews or cars whizzing by on the street, well that was my experience. Maybe if you get the other side of the hotel it would be more quiet. Apart from that, great atmosphere, good breakfast, good size pools and really close to all the shops. The cenote was nice, you get access to a cold plunge tub and a hot tub, steam room and a private pool.

My husband and I booked this resort for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The minute we entered the resort we were catered to! They had our room ready for early check in and decorated our room and left us a chilled bottle of champagne to enjoy! We had a private pool front room and it was exquisite. The atmosphere was wonderful. All the staff were incredible, from the restaurants, to the front desk, pool area and concierge service. We enjoyed all the amenities, the spa was top notch! Our room and facilities were super clean, modern and met all our expectations. The area was awesome, we loved having multiple pools and beach front access. It’s in a safe and comfortable location on Playa Del Carmen. We would return and recommend this stay to others! Thank you Grand Hyatt!!!
