The people at this resort make the experience exceptional. Thank you to concierges Katherine, Oscar and Marco and Felix in the dining room for making this trip easy with our kids and really fun. Our kids loved the activities at the pool and on the beach and the activity staff was great with our sometimes particular kids. The restaurant service is top notch and Katherine made sure we had all the reservations we needed. We also used the travel service on-site to book a private trip to swim with the sea turtles and visit the lava caves.

This is a five star hotel with fabulous service. This was a pseudo-business trip and we didn’t choose this hotel but we were glad we had the opportunity to stay here. The service was excellent, grounds maintained and beautiful, with many dining options. We would highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for an all inclusive experience. The hotel staff were very accommodating and would see to your every need.

Amazing, remarkable resort. VERY family friendly with an unbelievably nice kids club perfect for kids aged ~ 3-10 and a fully stocked teen room. We can't wait to go back! Special shout outs need to go to the sommelier, Eduardo who put on a fantastic tequila tasting for us as well as a wine pairing for dinner. The staff of the Kids Club was just amazing with my 4 year old and they provided a babysitter for my 1 year old. Liliana was a treasure and so sweet to my girls, as were the other staff including Stephanie and Jessie. They did all sorts of activity like nail painting, movie nights, hair braiding, painting, ceramics, dream catcher making, soccer, water sports... can't even think of them all. Such an awesome experience for all! HIGHLY recommend!!

It's been a dream vacation for us, the staff is amazing, friendly and always around to help and make you feel comfortable. The room was incredible and always clean, room service was perfect. The pool area was always clean just like the beach and the hotel surroundings as well. I would love to come back someday, it's been absolutely brilliant ❤️

I just stayed here with my husband and 18-month son. This is by far the best all-inclusive resort we have ever been to. The grounds were immaculate and perfectly manicured, and the beach had white sand and no weeds. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and were recently updated. The service was top-notch in every location of the resort. Our concierge Jorge was so attentive and made sure our stay was a memorable one. We used the baby-sitting services almost daily and the staff were great with our son. We went to the spa twice and had the most incredible massages and the water experience can't be missed. Lastly, the food was unbelievably good, and I didn't know an all-inclusive resort could have this high quality of food. The restaurants blew us away, the buffet had something new to offer daily, and the room service/ pool menu was super tasty. Did I mention the margaritas? Yum! I would give this resort 6 stars if I could. We can't wait to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at this resort. We have traveled extensively and this resort exceeded our expectation. The staff were incredibly warm and made us feel pampered. The food was quite good for an all inclusive experience. The facility overall was very nice. We were lucky to be there in May when it was not crowded and so it felt very peaceful. The spa experience is not to be missed and you really should give yourself 1.5 hours to enjoy the bath experience prior to your treatment. Thank you so much to the entire staff at Grand Velas. We are already planning a return trip.

My husband and I went on a work trip for him Thursday to Sunday. I will have to say everything was awesome about this resort. The grounds are beautiful, it feels like you’re in a tropical forest. The beach and the views are fantastic. The buildings and rooms and restaurants are all very clean. Their rooms are stocked daily with beverages, alcoholic or otherwise, as well as snacks. 24 hour room service is awesome. There are swimming pools, bars everywhere, plenty of restaurants. There’s something for everyone. I can’t think of one single complaint I had the entire time I was there. One of the things I really liked was that the employees are all top-notch, I did not come in contact with anyone that was less than pleasant. I would definitely recommend this resort for a vacation. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time to stay at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya. The experience as amazing. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Every little detail is considered - from the grounds, landscaping & pool to the live music or even the types of plates and cups. The staff is amazing - by far one of the best customer services experiences that we have ever had. They cater to your every need. The food is delicious and the presentation is excellent. Everything about this resort is first class. We will be back!
