Green Bag Coffee - 97000 Mérida

Ate here this morning on a Thursday at 0630, they seemed surprised to have a tourist this early. The three staff members were chatting with each other and no one else was around when I entered but the main server was polite and assisted me. The kitchen working woman rolled her eyes when the server asked her to make me a breakfast bagel (which is not "two sandwiches" as others have said but merely half the bagel with cheese and avocado on one side, and the other half has the bacon and eggs) but she got up to start working. They do a surcharge of 4% for credit card transactions so I paid cash. The bagel was filling and tasty - enough for two people - and the Americano coffee was passable, not great but not terrible. Price of MXN 150 for a sandwich is pricey by Mérida standards but well, options are limited at 0600 hours so I'm glad they are available for food that early.

Great place to spend the morning. Great wifi with power outlets around. Good coffee and good breakfast food

Great breakfast. They have very good coffee and the mango smoothie excellent. Food was great too. We ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and the breakfast bagel. In the end the breakfast bagel was exactly the same as the eggs order BUT had an avocado toast on top. And pretty much the same price. So if you want scrambled eggs, make sure you go for the bagel. Anyway, great place for breakfast.

Great place for breakfast! Found this by accident and it didn’t disappoint. The food is great and the service and staff was excellent. Everything is clean!

Simply the best breakfast you can have in Merida with a wonderful attention to the quality of the ingredients and dishes presentation. All fresh and organic, including an exquisite coffee.. and i can tell that i didn’t miss the Italian coffee here. Good music and a tropical ambient makes everything even more delightful.
