I have tried windsurfing and paddle boarding before but nothing compares to the thrill of catching a wave. Me and my wife were visiting Nuevo Vallarta and decided to try surfing. The guys at Green Lagoon Surfing gave us a surfing experience that exceeded our expectations, we can't wait to do it again.

A privileged and special moment in complete safety! We had the pleasure of taking a class with Jonny for 3 hours. Since the departure with Maya who comes to pick us up directly at the hotel and the short trip to discover the magnificent surf beach everything is very well organized. paolo was able to answer my questions by email very quickly. The walk is about 10 minutes on a rather natural trail without development. The 30-minute course on the beach is suitable for all ages. My 11 year old daughter managed to surf the wave the first time and I after a few waves and stuff from Jonny it works. Jonny is patient and attentive. Maya takes lots of photos which she then shares by email with us and gives water, drinks and snacks. The return to the hotel is done quickly and safely. a big thank you to all this great team! Maxim

Great Day Out! Paolo was very professional and prompt with any inquiries we had via email and made the whole signing up and payment side of things a breeze. Roberto our surfing coach was excellent, very patient with us newbies and great with his instructions and tips. Simplified everything and managed to get my wife surfing first try. Thank you guys for a memorable day!

Me and my brother in law booked a surf lessons with Green Lagoon last weekend. The service provided made us feel VIP and was above our expectations. They came to pick us up in Nuevo Vallarta with a fancy minivan with leather seats. The driver is a lady and she treated us professionally while being very nice too. When we got to the beach, Roberto was waiting for us with everything setup to start the lessons which was a fantastic experience. We both surfed several small waves and once we felt comfortable, the coach took us where waves were bigger and unbroken. A bit scary and challenging, but Roberto made sure we were safe all the time. I only wish I was in better shape to be able to last a bit longer. After less than 2 hours we were both exhausted and had to give up. We'll definitely do it again and next time we'll make sure to be fitter to enjoy every minute of it. Thanks Roberto and everyone working with Green Lagoon. We'll see you soon!

My boyfriend and I had the best time learning to surf with Green Lagoon Surfing! Roberto was a fantastic instructor and did a great job teaching the basics to two people that had never surfed before. He was great to work with and made scheduling our lesson easy. We surfed at Playa La Lancha which had great waves for beginners and was close to our hotel. Green Lagoon also included photos of our lesson! Their photographer, Paolo, took great action shots during our lesson and sent them to us afterward. We can't wait to take a level two lesson on our next trip!

Beginning with my first email with Paolo at Green Lagoon Surfing, our entire experience with their team was amazing. They were super-fast to answer my initial inquiry and provided all the necessary information right away. This made it so easy to decide! Mara (our lovely driver, and now friend) arrived on time to pick us up for our first lesson. You will enjoy Mara’s bubbly personality and feel very comfortable with her – she’s a great driver and her English is excellent! Once we arrived at the surf shop, My daughter and I met our instructor Roberto. Immediately we felt at ease and we knew we were going to have fun in the waves with him. He was the best instructor that I imagine we could have found. He was thorough with explanations on the beach, but he didn’t waste any time to get us into the water. We always felt safe with Roberto. Mara took lots of great pictures of our experience. I appreciated this as a parent as I was taking lessons too, and couldn’t get pics of my daughter. We had such a great time, we booked again for the next day! I would absolutely recommend Green Lagoon Surfing for a wonderful ‘surf lesson’ and beach experience. I’m positive we will arrange more lessons when we return next year! We look forward to more fun with the team at Green Lagoon Surfing.

We had a great experience with Green Lagoon Surfing. Paolo, Mara and Roberto did a excellent job giving us a great surf experience at La Lancha beach. Mara provided transportation from our Hard Rock Vallarta to the surf shop where we met Roberto. Roberto picked out all the surf boards and we hiked the short trail to La Lancha beach. Roberto provide a short surf lesson on the beach and then took the group into the water. He had our whole group riding waves within minutes. My family had a great day and it was a highlight of our trip to Mexico. Mara stayed on the beach the whole morning providing snacks, water and encouragement for our group while Roberto made sure everyone was catching waves and learning how to surf properly. Mara and Paolo took 150 pictures of the family surfing and shared these with us. Overall, it was a great morning that exceeded my expectations and provided a lifetime experience for my family. Thank you Paolo, Mara and Roberto for a great day on La Lancha beach.
