★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The teachers of the school are immature and they are not so welcoming as they say... I was visiting with a friend and everything was ‘arranged’ but what happened is that we were allowed to follow one class and everyone was really ‘upset’ because ‘they didn’t know we would come’. So in the end we sat 4 hours at the patio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My British children went to this school. I just learned that they were bullied relentlessly by the spoilt local kids. After school chess club was on the computer with suggested moves, my son still can’t play chess...says it all really

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this school. I attended from J1-first grade. I had to leave in the middle of a semester, but I plan to visit some time this summer. As I don’t remember much, there isn’t much that I can say except the classes were fun and I actually learned something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended from 1972 to 1974. It was the best school I ever attended. What they taught me allowed me to do nothing in the USA in 1975 and 1976. Thanks to Greengates I graduated in the USA, and was able to get through college. Fantastic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greengates was the place to be for me growing up, the education system was top notch, and the school focused very much on the individual. Recently; after Jonathan Robins and David Lawrence’s departures the academic scheme went on a downward spiral, and I would even dare to say that the new administration was very intolerant and didn’t want to understand the struggle of the children attending. The inability to comprehend and attend a child’s needs have put the school where it is today. There is no balance whatsoever, and everything nowadays is getting good grades and working hard, however if a child is having a domestic issue, the school ignores it blatantly. I miss the Greengates of old, and I truly hope that one day this once magnificent school can be restored, as opposed to now, where students are deprived of free time, and social life.
I attended from 2010-2020 and it truly pains me to see the school that I dedicated so much time to has fallen apart.
Thank you for the memories, not so much for the present.
