About GRUTA EHDEN

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place to have a delicious Lebanese meal. Prices are relatively low and the staff attention is pretty good.
We ordered hummus and falafel as entrées. Both tasted good. Main dishes were:
1) Lamb shawarma: 4 small portions but enough to fill your belly.
2) Lamb guts: a completely new experience... They have a strong flavor but kind of reminds me of street tacos... Which I actually love, though.
Bottom line, it is the best traditional Lebanese restaurant I have ever been.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their special dish was eight pieces of dry lightly marinated chicken with french fries. Yes, french fries. I don't know if this place is laundering money or if the regulars have just never had mediterranean food before in their life, but this place was disappointing. It's a nice setting and service was good so its worth considering for a glass of wine and some appetizers. But if you have had mediterranean food before and expect to eat well, stay away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Lebanese food. Food is ok if you want to eat that type of cuisine, however it is not that authentic. It lacks of flavor and consistency of hummus wasn’t great. Falafel is interesting, the texture is deficient, but the taste was really good. Venue is nice and service is good.
