Nuestros abuelos emigraron de Líbano en 1930, estableciendo en ese año el Primer Restaurant de Comida Libanesa en México, con las recetas tradicionales de dicho país.
En 1976 se abrió el Restaurant Gruta Ehden, para poder ofrecer la auténtica Gastronomía Libanesa al sur de la Ciudad de México. En donde, bajo una esmerada y estrícta supervisión se mantienen los mas altos estándares de calidad en nuestros platillos; apegándonos a las recetas y formas de elaboración de Ehden.
Éste es un pueblo situado al norte de Líbano, en las montañas nevadas, bajo cuyo deshielo sale un manantial de agua cuyo nombre es Gruta Ehden, y de ahí el nombre de nuestro Restaurant. En un ambiente familiar, agradable y tranquilo, lo invitamos a disfrutar del auténtico Oasis del Sabor Libanés. ®

I am half Jordanian -Palestinian and spent half my life in the middle east working in restaurants like this. I really want some authentic Arabic food here in Mexico City and looks like it's hard to find, maybe the food supplies are hard to find...I'm not sure.

Falafel and jocoque was good but nothing exceptional.
We shared a rack of lamb -huge portions- it was perfectly cooked, but again nothing that exceptional.
