See my pic of the snack shop. Go eat here. Owner speaks English. Chicken tenders & fries were awesome! Oh, the cave...it’s absolutely amazing. The guide was great. He went along in Spanish, but when he had a chance to recognize me and my wife he politely asked us if we spoke Spanish. When we said no, he took the time to catch us up on what he had told the group and addressed us individually from time to time. Good form tour guide! Cable car was clean and well maintained. Better than Fantastic Caverns in Missouri, USA.

Great place to spend a few hours. You can take the tram to the cave entrance or spend an hour or so walking the path up. When we started it was clouded over and couldn't see the entrance from the ground and when we got to the top couldn't see the ground. This is a guided tour and ours spoke clear and loud so it was easy to understand him. The paths are well marked and easy to traverse as long as you don't mind stairs. You will walk about 750 stairs so make sure you are comfortable and don't need to go to the bathroom before going in. Lots of snack and souvenir shops at the bottom but you may want to do that at the end. We would go again.

Beautiful must see cave! An amazing experience at affordable prices. Worth the drive, the views are breath taking. You do not have to be an active or an elite hiker. It's a simple walk, it's about an hour long very slow paced.

Very risky walk up the hill, the walkways are kind of falling apart, and need immediate maintenance. It is an hour walk, and if you are not in shape I would not recommend the climb. Once inside the cave you get a nice cold breeze that is about 18 degrees celcius. Bring water and energy food with you, it is a most. The tour guys are very informative and friendly. I asked when the cable car was going to be fix and they have no idea.

Very cool caves! It's kind of far from Monterrey, but if you can make the drive it is worth it. The cable car to get up the mountain is well maintained; I'd recommend taking it unless you want to hike up the mountain. The caves itself are very impressive. The tour guide there was very nice and made us laugh a lot. Sometimes it was dark while walking in the caves, but usually there were lights. You will be walking up many stairs (750 of them), so the caves are not very suitable for young children or very old people. The sights can't be expressed by photographs, you need to see it all in person for the full experience! I advise you to wear long pants because it can get a little cold in the caves, however by the end of the tour I was actually hot because of my face mask. Enjoy your trip if you go!

Gondola / Teleferico currently out of service. $50 pesos per person to enter the cave and about 1 mile long with 1000 ft elevation gain hike one way(1.6km with 300m elevation gain) to get to the cave. The gondola/teleferico is currently under repair and will be unavailable for at least 3 months. The cave is pretty cool. Must be accompanied by a guide (cost included in ticket). Your is in Spanish. The your in the cave is 2 km long with 750 steps. Lots of cave features and good lighting.

It’s around one hour to drive there from Monterrey. I went there with a tour that I booked online 2 days before the trip and I think it’s better that way, easier and safer. When I was there the cable car was broken (or under maintenance) so we hiked to the cave around 30 minutes. The track was good. Bring water cause nobody sell bottled water up there. Inside the cave they have some tour guide (you don’t need to pay more for this). Btw the entrance fee was 50 pesos. You’ll be inside the cave for 30-40 minutes. The facility around the entrance was good. There were small stores that sell souvenirs, a place to get a snack and water and the toilet was clean.
