★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ia an amazing site. We only stopped on a trip from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido but will go back for a longer stay. The caves and guide was fantastic - and fanastical. Takes about 90m for basic walk. You have to be in reasonable shape and there is a fairly steep climb up a road and steps to the entrance and then you walk in low night (supplied flashlights only - bring more powerful ones if you have it) on some uneven surfaces. Really recommend a visit. Friendly and knowledgeable site staff. Busy on the weekend - empty during the week. Excellent road in from Highway 131 and stunningly beautiful country. Cabins are m$200/p/n look clean and new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! Bring water shoes if going to the underground river. There are rental shoes available. There is a lot of walking steps involved and going down a steep ladder to get to the underground river. Overall it was a great tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 260 pesos for a guided cave tour. I have been to a few caves before but nothing like this as open and naked as this. I was left breathless and in awe. The drive from Oaxaca is about 2 hours and you can stay here if you want. Bring tennis shoes and water shoes to switch out to. They have a river and a cenote to frolic in. Prepare to spend about 2-4 hours here. They have a few shops and and delicious food to gain strength or get some after the hike. We were told the clay here was good for the skin and hair so we lathered ourselves and came out super smooth and soft. I would love to come back and bring my family
