The views, the water, the food and drinks. The waterfalls!? I was speechless with the views and the warm waters. The cave was so much fun and relaxing! There is however a lot of walking and steps to walk up or down to get anywhere. But trust me it is 100% worth the cardio :D

Took two buses and a taxi to get there, but it was worth it! HIGHLY recommend bringing extra cash since they only take cash at the hotels and there’s no atm. If you’re staying over night you’ll have to buy two tickets, but since we got there around 10:30 pm we only had to buy 1 ticket each for the pool to use the next day. Since we got there late and was tired we went to the closest hotel which ended up being Paraíso Hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying there because the room was very basic and the cheapest room was $1600 mxn with no windows (other than the small one in the bathroom). We barely had enough cash to pay for the room and we even told the guy at front desk that. Just wish he did the decent thing and could have told us there was cheaper hotels that were very close by! Lesson learned.

Gorgeous caves, sights, nature, hot springs, and amazingly aqua blue waters. Best to go on a Monday thru Thursday for least traffic. Avoid going on a Mexican or U.S. Holiday weekend as well. Bring water shoes and make sure to keep your phone in a plastic water proof case. You’ll need it. One of the most gorgeous sights you’ll ever see. You’ll want to have cash here as well. You will find mostly local Mexicans here, English isn’t so popular. Many people camp here, this can be a surprise to see. It can take almost 6 hours each way to get there from CDMX. The roads are a little bumpy and windy. Avoid the trek if you get car sick.

Wonderful place. The water in the baths is not very hot. Most of all, I was impressed by the hot river and the cave-tunnel and the grotto under it, from which this river flows. It's just magic! Don't be afraid to explore the grotto to the right hand. And be sure to reach the end of the tunnel!

The place by itself is amazing. Tunnels, thermals, waterfalls - so many things to explore. But I wish it was more private or people were less messy. The transport situation is disappointing.

Very relaxing. Take time to spend there. Better to have water shoes , towel. Can get cold on the way from one place to another. Went to cave and waterfall first , then came down to small step falls There is also locker you can rent before going to cave . If you go to ponds , have to drive back outside main entrance and then take immediate left route. There is hotel near the step ponds as well. Water is warm but not too hot.

We've had a great time. It's nice and quiet, especially late in the day and early in the morning. I'd recommend staying on site for a night. Really has a lot of charm.

Great spot, super relaxing! Our guide gave us time to explore everything. Go in off season and buy the ticket in advance. Depending on where you are it is best to book a driver/guide. We were coming from Mexico City and for $150/person we got a ride (8hour drive total) and we spent the whole day there. Lunch was included.
