★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought this was so cool. There are cenotescaving all throughout the caves, and you can see a lot of neat stalactites and stalagmites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing off the beaten path cave!!! Be fit for this one. You'll be crawling through two small, tight fitting tunnels during your adventure. Several cenotes can be seen and you can swim in the last one. Lots of bats too. It is hot, humid, and totally worth every peso. Bring a tactical flashlight if you really want to see where you're going. You'll be given a hard hat and a flashlight. My flashlight worked most of the time, but not much during the trek back. Our guide was awesome even with a language barrier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing, beautiful and challenging. Juventino our guide was super helpful and knowledgeable. The hike was moderate with a bit of a challenging crawl before arriving to the last breathtaking cenote. We'll be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is friendly, the guide doesn't provide any info on the cenotes, but he/she does show you the way and number the cenotes (there are 13 of them, but you can only swim in the last 2), they provide you with a safety helmet and a flashlight, it is better to bring your own flashlight though.
The hiking through the cavern is slippery at times, but not hard over all, you arrive at a beautiful cenote with crystal clear blue water, very deep but it has a rope that you can hang on to, the rope leads to another path that ends at another cenote (about 5 mins to get there, this however is optional) the water is always at a very comfortable temperature and is the perfect end to the hike, that is because you will sweat a lot, after the cenote you must hike all the way back to the entrance (it is easier because your body gets really fresh after the cenote swim) about 30 mins from the entrance to the cenote, another 30 mins back, the guide will wait for you at the cenote for you to enjoy swimming. I'd recommend you to bring a bottle of water and a towel. There is a makeshift dressing
room with a shower.
Over all a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not to far from Mérida (15-20 min) you’ll find this amazing place, explore the cave walking (mostly), crawling, and swimming. I do recommend to cross the first big cenote, after it you’ll find another one even bigger and it’s amazing.
You’ll need to be prepared with some bottle of water, energy bar, and sport clothes. A small backpack is recommended or you won’t pass trough small spaces. Your cellphone should be packed in your backpack so you can hold the flashlight freely.
Not recommended for claustrophobic, knees injuries, and overweighted people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love getting dirty, testing your mental and physical strength, this is the experience for you! I have been here twice and loved it. The first time we only toured the immediate cave. The second tour was a 3 hour hike within the caves to a cenote. It included seeing fossils that predated the dinosaurs, bats, ancient cave formations along with relaxing in the sacred waters of the cenotes. Amazing!
