GREAT place for bike tours & for renting really good mountain bikes! There is lots of fanastic mountain biking in the surrounding area. Armando is a super guide and will bend over backwards to help you out! Either with a tour or just renting bikes. Also nice bar to enjoy your free beer after your ride.

Armando knows all the routes, adjusted the tour too our needs and stepped in when we had a rider with mechanical issues. It was great to end the day at his mezcaleria and tap room. Highly recommended. Thanks Armando we had a great ride!

Armando rented me a decent bike at a decent price and I had 10 days of fun riding in the hills in and around Guanajuato.

I just finished a ride with Armando, and I couldn't recommend GTO Bike Tours more highly! I was a cycling tour guide myself for 6 years, and can say from experience that Armando and GTO Bike Tours are the gold standard in excellence!. * The guide: Armando was born and raised in GTO and has a passion for this area matched only by his passion for cycling. He knows every centimeter of this land. He also takes time to know his clients and customizes every tour to their ability level and interests. His communication was excellent! He is completely fluent in English but also humored me by letting me practice my broken Spanish. :-) * The riding: This area provides world-class mountain biking, and terrain for novice to pro. The climate is perfect, the views are spectacular, and the back gravel roads and single track make for excellent riding. Our family fell in love with GTO, and for me this ride was the highlight the trip. * The bike: Armando set me up with a quality mountain bike, and was even able to fit my tall height (6'3"). Highly recommended. Armando was a terrific guide. Friendly and knowledgeable - extremely helpful when trying to learn the trails at La Fragua. I generally like to explore trails by myself, but I really think the guided tour was important in this case and I'm glad I found exactly the perfect service. Pro tip: ask Armando about his own label of Mezcal or arrange for a post-ride tasting.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys pedalling in cool places! If you are on the fence - don't hesitate... DO IT! The experience was one that i hope to repeat again in the future. It was so enjoyable! Armando is an awesome guy, super knowledgable and a great guide overall! It was like riding with a buddy back home but in a very unique place. Exactly what you want from a ride like this. I'll be back for sure!
