The wait was not too long for customs and immigration. The agents were polite and friendly. Even though the airport is fairly small, it has a few shops and a cafe for snacks or meals.

WARNING!!! Be careful with this airport. I’m surprised there are no more complains about this air port. This is a small airport and unorganized. I wish there was a -5 five star rating. The Mexican Customs, the Mexican airlines like Volaris, and airport staff are TERRIBLE, CORRUPT, and AUTOCRATIC but mostly CORRUPT!!!! If you are are going from the US to Mexico with a more than two luggages and you do not pass a green screening light, the Mexican Customs will stop you and search your belongings, AND in some cases it doesn’t even matter if you pass the green light they still stop you and search all of your belongings, and if they see that you have semi new items with no price tags THEY WILL QUESTION YOU for the receipts and ask why you have them, then they will ask you to pay off $100 usd or more. Also airport staff/employee at the international arrival gates will approach you asking you if they can help you fill out paper and offer you ways to cut the lines but then later they will ask you if you want to give them $20 for the assistance because supposedly they do make a lot at their airport job. Now, if you are leaving Mexico to the US with the Volaris airline the checking staff are rude, unfriendly, and apathetic. They will pull out a ruler to measure your carry on luggage and if is off by one inch they will charge you $100 or more. Stop with the Corruption!!!

Careful with security checkpoints here - they will steal items out of your bag and cannot be trusted. They have absolutely no scruples here and you should treat them like street vendors looking to scam you. Be cautious!!!

This airport was extremely small for an international airport and was very organized. It has few shops and limited food options, but gets you from A to B. The staff is faster than other airports I have been to and very polite. I purchased breakfast at a counter on the second floor, called Star Island Cafe and it tasted amazing.

This is a great little airport. On site fast testing. Great services. I took away one star because Uber is not allowed for pickup. The taxi service gouges prices. So you'll pay at least double (if not triple) what a normal ride should be.

Security has no idea what they are doing. After passing my things through 5 min later, they ask to view my small aerosoles. The Supervisor is inept and lazy. Doesn't want to check anything properly. I wouldn't trust them to pass with my loved ones ashes if they can't even screen a film camera properly. The Supervisor was lazy and didn't want to go through proper screening procedures. If I could give them 0 stars I would The Starbucks was amazing ? great staff. They were super friendly and helpful. Good drinks. They had a good place to sit and wait. 5 stars

You can freely go in and out the airport without any temperature or hand sanitizer so that is bad part. Several shops in the airport entrance including rental car, coffee and Mexican grill shop among others. Not a fancy airport but is compact and useful. Once inside of the boarding gate, you will find Starbucks and other stores. The airlines flies to many destination but many times you have to walk to the plane. Sometimes you get wet as there is no roof over you.

This airport always has long lines. Took us about 1.5 hour to get through immigration and another hour to get through luggage inspection. Covid measures not in place, people were crowded in hallways with no supervision or no one to control that.
