Aunque quien me vendió el tour fue Luis y siempre se mostró amable, el recorrido por la ruta de la Independencia deja mucho que desear. En teoría dura 8 hrs el recorrido, pero ya habían pasado 3 hrs del viaje y solamente habíamos visitado una tienda de platería, una de conservas y una de mezcal. Ya en Dolores Hidalgo solamente fue caminar por 2 cuadras y 0% recomendable entrar al museo de la casa de los herederos de Hidalgo (3 habitaciones en su mayoría con puras maquetas), y para finalizar, el tiempo en San Miguel solamente fue de 1 hr. Preferible tomar de la central un camión a alguno de estos puntos y conocerlo por su cuenta. Y no creo que solamente esta empresa haga este tipo de recorridos, ya que estando en Guanajuato se ofrece este tour en varios lugares.

Para mi en lo personal tuve una gran experiencia muy bonita haber visitado Guanajuato y que está empresa se encargo de darnos finas atenciones para mi esposa y para mi, 100% confiables ya que todo lo hize por medio de la web y whatsapp y sin problemas. Excelente servicio personalizado por parte de Fernando Aranda y Luis Navarro ?. Sin duda alguna los vuelvo a contratar en mi próximo viaje a GTO.

Anybody looking to experience the city of Guanajuato would really enjoy these tour guides. Luis and Salvador are very well verse in the ins and outs and history of the city. It was wonderful to be able to get around without getting lost or frustrated and at the same time learning. Plus they give great recommendations as to where to park or have a bite afterwards. Guanajuato tours fue una buena experiencia desde el principio. Me comunique con Luis por WhatsApp, me dió buena explicación de lo que pudiéramos esperar la noche anterior. Nos dió la opción de encontrarnos en un lugar fijo o de que con recogieran en el hotel, optamos por encontrarnos, nos dirigió a un estacionamiento local y seguro. Nos dió una breve explicación y Salvador fue nuestro conductor. Salvador nos llevo por la ciudad dándonos explico de lo que veíamos y nos esperó en cada lugar con mucha paciencia. Al concluir nos dieron recomendaciones para comer y eso nos dió la oportunidad de caminar el centro y disfrutar de lo bello que es la ciudad. Les recomendaría mucho esté servicio a todos los que quieran conocer la ciudad de Guanajuato sin perderse todo el día.

My review is based on the following: 1) Group of 15 2) Group with adults and children (including toddler) 3) Great experience with lots of historic information 4) Willingness to learn and enjoy You might read some other reviews here by my family so I will try not to repeat many of the details they already shared, but I'd like to point out that if they can make a group of 15 with different needs/personalities happy then that should suffice to convince you to go with Guanajuato Turismo Tours. My grandparents are originally from Guanajuato, Mexico (Leon, GTO) but have lived in the United States for decades and it’s been years since many of us have returned. We were fortunate enough to return with a new generation of kids; however, we came back as tourists. If you have social media and follow any travel IG accounts, you'll come to find that Guanajuato has been a hot spot for many travelers due to the many vibrant photo opportunities courtesy of the picturesque landscapes and charming details of the city and surrounding cities. Guanajuato Turismo Tours went above and beyond in enhancing our experience. They were not only patient with a large group, but they were professional, timely and courteous. We had 3-day tours and each day they would ask us for our opinions to get an overall feel on how satisfied we were. The two guys, Luis and Fernando, met us every morning at our hotel just to greet and walk us to the van that was to take us on our designated tour that day. We would then meet our amazing crew - Huicho/Wicho (spelling?) who was the narrator/tour guide and Saul who was the driver. We are a bilingual group with the exception of the kids who are more fluent in English, but they, too, enjoyed the radio-esque voice Wicho had (all in Spanish), not to mention his eloquence and articulateness. His knowledge of the cities we visited was astounding and his timeliness along with delivery was great. He was also able to answer many of the questions we had. Saul was a terrific driver - I usually get carsick and I felt fine the entire time. One of the best and unforgettable experiences we've had. As I mentioned above, we had 3-day tours and are listed below: 1) Guanajuato City Tours includes: Momias (mummy museum), Museo Ex-Hacienda del Cochero, San Ramon Bocamina, Castle, etc. 2) Tres Raices Vineyard (WOW - hands down best wine tasting experience and admittedly, we do A LOT of wine tasting), San Miguel de Allende 3) Dolores Hidalgo, Jose Alfredo Jimenez Museum and Tomb, Mezcal tasting, etc. I highly recommend if you are into learning, adventure and are open-minded. Very excellent experience! We traveled from May 9 to May 12, 2022 with a family of 15, including a 1-year-old, 7-year-old, two 10-year-olds, a 12-year-old, and the rest were adults. I was able to contact Luis from Guanajuato Turismo Tours a few months before our vacation by WhatsAPP. Luis was very informative and we decided to reserve three days of private tours. Luis was available every time I contacted him he responded within minutes. We reserved the following private tours with Luis ahead of time with a small deposit of $25 through PayPal: Day 1: Guanajuato City Tour Evening: Callejoneada Tour Day 2: Privately created tour to Tres Raices Vinyeard and San Miguel de Allende Day 3: Tour de la Independencia We arrived at our hotel in Guanajuato and Luis and his co-worker Fernando greeted us at our hotel at about 8:30 AM. We had over 15 large luggage's in total and they assisted us with taking our luggage up the hill and at the lobby of our hotel. They were very patient and waiting for us to check into out hotel and wait until we all secured and changed to start our first tour of the Guanajuato City Tour. Luis and Fernando made sure we arrived at the pick-up location down the hill from our hotel. Luis and Fernando coordinated our private van transportation to accommodate our large group. They introduced us to our tour guide, Huicho and Saul our driver for the next three days. I cannot say enough about Huicho. This guide was probably the best and most knowledgeable person for ALL of our tours. Saul was a great driver and safely drove us to all of our tours with no problems and made sure our belongings in the van were kept secure. We highly recommend you request Huicho and Saul if you decide to take any tours. They were always professional and arrived in a timely manner, even though we were the ones running behind lol. We were very impressed how Luis and Fernando both ensured every morning that they greeted us at the lobby of our hotel to make sure we boarded our private van with Huicho and Saul. They communicated with me via WhatsApp and in person frequently and asked if we had any concerns. They also made sure we were satisfied at the end of each tour. Luis, Fernando, and Huicho engaged and entertained all parties in our group, which was much appreciated. Although, ALL of the tours we participated in were awesome. I have to say the best tour for me was the visit to the Tres Raices Vineyard and Winery. We were lucky to get an available spot for our large group on Mexico's celebration on Mother's Day for a Vineyard tour and wine pairing. We paid about $75 per adult and I have to say that was the best tour and wine pairing ever. If you like wine it is a must! They even entertained our children with stone-fired pizza's. Overall, we were very pleased with our tours with the staff of Guanajuato Tourismo Tours. I have to say it seemed like it was difficult to find a tour company online for some reason and I was graciously able to find them after multiple searches on the Internet. I was also not sure if it was safe pre-booking, but we found out that it was totally worth it and would do it again. I wish they had a Yelp account or Trip Advisor, but I will create a Yelp account for them. I think the thing we would change is instead of three days in Guanajuato we would have enjoyed another two or more additional days to truly explore what Guanajuato has to offer. Such a beautiful city and the people are great! I would suggest dining at the smaller mom & pop venues verses the bigger restaurants for more of an authentic experience.
