I do not generally write reviews but this hostel deserves it so I'll write one. It's a nice, family hostel where you will feel at home as soon as you enter and few hours later it will feel like you've been there for weeks already as Santiago and his wife (sorry I have forgotten your name...) are welcoming and genuinely helpful. You can feel that they are talking to you and giving you advice, not just because it's a business and that's what you are supposed to do with your guests, but because that's how they are. And this detail does everything for me already! As well, it is spotless clean, the breakfast is very good, the location perfect (the town center is really not that far, a lot of nice local places are nearby and the bus station is only few minutes away), the bed comfy and cozy, the dog super cute and there is hot water. So, if you're reading this review and you're still unsure about where to stay, just stay there. Thank you, I'll definitely come back when I'm back in Merida!

First I didn’t stay here. But I don’t have a good experience with them. My friends stayed there. So I asked them to keep my luggage for couple of hours like around 3 hours. I handover luggage around 9PM. And they charged me 40 pesos. I didn’t mind to pay for it. I told them I have night bus. Unfortunately I didn’t get information what time they will lock the main door.. I went back there to get my luggage at 11:30. The main door was locked. And I couldn’t enter in. So I couldn’t get my luggage back. I almost missed my bus. Because my bus was at 11:50. I tried to called them and they didn’t pick up. Another group of guys who were staying in the hostel came back to hostel that moment. And they open the door for me. If you wanna charge with something plz take responsibility.?

Dangerous Beds, Unfriendly Staff. This Hostal has one room, which is equipped with 4 beds, which are triple sleepers. I was on the top bed, which means that you're around 3 meters above the ground. It is hard to get up there and the railing does not protect you 100% from falling out (i was able to slide through underneath, so I needed to put my bag next to me, to protect myself). So have fun breaking your neck at night. The windows where a bit open when I arrived and mosquitos where coming into the room, so I tried to close it, since it was next to my bed. I accidentally broke one small window while doing it and cut my hand (the windows are very fragile). The staff didn't care about my well-being, but asked for compensation and threatened me with the police (no fun in Mexico). Additionally to that I had no blanket and the room was extremely loud, because it is next to a street and as I said, the windows won't shut completely. We told the staff, that we need to depart at 8:30 to catch a bus. Breakfast time is at 8:00. The staff didn't make any effort to start preparing breakfast on time, so we just ate some fruits in a rush and headed off with basically no breakfast on a 9h bus-ride. Additionally the staff (the guy) gave me and my friend a very unfriendly attitude. I didn't feel welcome there and wouldn't recommend to stay.

Overall, it is worth the money as it is super cheap. + Very cheap and close to Ado bus terminal. Nice breakfast - Big rooms that makes it crowded and the room smells bad. The window from the room is to the street, so a lot of noise from outside. Only one toiled and one shower.

Really beautiful hostel run by lovely kind people. The room was really nice there were enough lockers for each bed, and the beds had little curtains giving you a bit of privacy in the shared room. Outside, there is a shady garden and a pool, so it was great for keeping cool. Breakfast is included, we had a bowl of fruit, waffles, and tea, coffee, jamaica water. Santiago one of the owners was soo helpful he sat down with us and got out a map of Merida/Yucatan and gave us some really great recommendations about where to go. This was really handy and kind of him to sit with us and share what he knows (which was a lot!) Such a nice place to stay I would really recommend it. And so close to rhe bus station which is a plus! Thanks so much Sara and Santiago for having us ?

I stayed at this hostel in 2019 and it was wonderful. Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast with waffle. Also it is located right near the bus station which is so convenient. Would recommend! 5 ⭐️

One if the best hostels in Mérida. Perfect location, a few steps from ADO Bus Station and a 10 minutes walk from the city center. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the freshly made waffles were exactly my taste.

What I really loved about this hostel is you are having breakfast with the owner and his family, like you are a part of it. It is really a nice chill and small hostel, with a garden, a small roof and pool an very nice equipped kitchen there. On the breakfast they serve waffle fruits or fried egg on a bread and with fruits. The owner of the hostel has a lot information about the city and archeolocigal areas, he really gave nice tips to visit. I really enjoyed the time that I spent there.
