He visto su entrega comprometida y su crecimiento artístico a lo largo de estos años, siempre en la búsqueda de explorar materiales y técnicas que fortalezcan sus obras. El taller que instaló en Coatepec desde hace unos años es un sitio transparente, cálido, diáfano, rodeado por un jardín que combina lo cultivado con lo bellamente silvestre de las plantas, ideal para su trabajo en solitario y para los talleres que brinda. Los invito a conocer su obra y, si tienen la oportunidad, a ir a alguno de los talleres que imparte. Sin duda les abrirá horizontes creativos y emocionales.
I have had the privilege of knowing Guillermina Ortega since 1999. I have seen her committed commitment and her artistic growth throughout these years, always in the search to explore materials and techniques that strengthen her works. The workshop that he installed in Coatepec for a few years is a transparent, warm, diaphanous place, surrounded by a garden that combines the cultivated with the beautifully wild plants, ideal for his work alone and for the workshops he provides.
