Guilty - 77733 Puerto Aventuras

OK, I can't speak to the restaurant. I went on the recommendation of a friend to the bar. The drinks were nothing too special and the bartender had very little personality. The prices were high for what you get.

Unless you're wanting to pay for an expensive 3 course meal, I wouldn't bother.. Good service and food was tasty however the portion size was small. My partner and I only ate mains and left the restaurant still hungry

I arrived to It Guilty hotel and residence planning to take the daily yoga class at 8am. After waiting in the lobby 10 min after 8 I decided to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant. The menu and ambiance looked amazing. I proceeded to sit and ordered an ginger mint tea infusion. Presentation flawless best tea ever. I then ordered the huevos benedictinos with Salmon..... My plate arrived very quickly I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing worse than having a cold egg dish. Unless it’s supposed to be cold.. the salmon was served chilled which I understand, but keeping in mind if you’re going to serve chilled salmon on a hot egg dish the rest of the ingredients should give that heated balance. All in all the dish was a fail. Hollandaise sauce served at room temperature is jut wrong. The Muffin as a result was cold in the middle but slightly toasted on the outside. I think at these altitudes of the game places like IT GUILTY should be able to get it right. Jus to add not a single person approached me to offer me an apology or just to offer a “please come back so we can show you we are great”. It’s typical and sad in Playa del Carmen the lack of customer service skills. My waitress Francisca sweet as can be. Beautiful building and hoping to catch yoga next time.

Hated this place. If you want an Indian,do not go here. It looks and tastes nothing like Indian food! I ordered an aloo gobi,(cauliflower curry) because I'm a veggie, they brought out a whole cauliflower on a plate with a millimetre of sauce, didn't taste remotely close to an Indian sauce, and some spices were sprinkled on the top. Vegetable curry korma was just peppers and onions, and had hot spices added,once again tasted nothing like Indian. My partner ordered a vindaloo! Absolutely awful he said, nothing like a vindaloo and not even hot!! Awful!!

Excellent food quality, worth every penny .. so delicious, every bite takes perfectly seasoned. Must try when you visit playa del carmen, i tried many restaurants but this one is amazing. Its just perfect. Service is excellent, waiters pay attention to details. Best restaurant in playa del carmen IMO. Try the octupus / goan/ massala ... well just try everything if you can. Oh yeah ... the wine too. Is excellent u have the choice from good small selection of wines from france/argentina/italy...

Absolutely amazing service!!!!! And the food is a very close second. The bar manager is extremely knowledgeable and has been in the service industry for some time and it shows. Miguel is his name, and he true takes pride in his work. The cocktails are amazing aswell. Just tell Miguel what youre in the mood for and he'll make it happen.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Playa del Carmen just a few blocks from here. We dined here on our first night, and had such an amazing experience that we returned again just two nights later! The service was impeccable. The severs were attentive without being overbearing and were very knowledgeable (specifically Eric!). The food was AMAZING. We loved every single dish that we tried. My favorite was one of their features that night- a burrata salad with a pea/pesto purée, tomatoes, and micro greens. Not only were all of the dishes tasty, but they also had beautiful presentation. Hats off to the chef!

This is really the biggest guilt to eat food here. Worst food of my life. Please don't waste your money here to taste indian food. See the aalo gobhi. Hahaha
