★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great variety of imported and fresh goods, the service is slow and the place usually crowded, but you can find things unavailable everywhere else at good prices. The new self serve cashiers are a Godsend. Be there early, or face the crowds!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HEB offers all kinds of products, for all price ranges. It's possible to find organic or imported goods as well as more local and way cheaper options.
This last visit, the ice cream refrigerators were not very well stocked. Most of the other times, I am able to find everything I'm looking for.
There is one delicious bread that is plant-based (I don't know whether it is vegan or not), and it is like a concha with jelly in the middle. It can be found with or without nut pieces on the vanilla cover.
