I have worked twice with Hacer Común and both have been incredible experiences. So good that I have developed a friendship with them over the distance. They are great people, excellent designers and producers. I am very grateful :)

Absolute horrible experience. Complete scammers, did a horrible job for a project they hold for 5 months but only worked on 2 weeks after needing to finish delivery. Also did not return furniture and distorted goods in their care. Please do not work or trust them. Their owner is a rude and completely unprofessional person.

I've been involved with the Hacer Comun community for the past 8 months, most recently through an Integrated Health workshop that we collaborated on over the past weekend. Not only do I love the ethos, culture and community behind Hacer Comun, I have also seen first-hand the hugely positive effect it has had on the community of Zimatlan de Alvarez, and how that community continues to grow. It is a truly inclusive environment that both unites and supports its members, and I'm excited to see how they continue to develop. I welcome any opportunities to collaborate and participate on future projects, and I encourage anyone and everyone else to do the same.

Lots of Mexican brands make beautiful design objects, but very few of them have the social mission that Hacer Común does. I met Eduardo when I was making a documentary about his local area, and he very generously connected us with members of the community who are now seeing the benefit of having been part of the project. I went back to Zimatlán again when Hacer Común opened Ruiseñor, a small café/ restaurant, and the food is very good and the space beautiful, but more important than that, I could see that Hacer Común's space has become a sanctuary for local people looking to enjoy a quality design experience with a warm, friendly face. If you're thinking about visiting, don't hesitate, as Eduardo truly cares about providing people with an unforgettable experience, as if you're thinking about collaborating with Hacer Común, rest assured that you'd be working with an intelligent and thoughtful individual whose work is having a very positive impact on those around him.
