We had our wedding here and what a blessing this was! We HIGHLY reccomend this hacienda to everyone you wont regret it for one second! Staff is family to us now we thank them so much for all they did !!

This is a very special home, and my family and I truly loved our 10 day stay at Hacienda Camino del Mar. We were 3 generations made up of 7 adults and 4 kids (3-10 years) and our expectations were far exceeded. Layout - The Hacienda is excellent for a large group and has a very authentic feel. The design of the house allowed everyone to be comfortable and spend time together in a relaxing environment. The Hacienda wraps around a large outdoor eating area where we ate every meal. The house provided endless beach towels, umbrellas for the beach, foldup beach chairs, boogie boards, netflix, internet and really anything else that you would need. Rooms - There are 4 large bedrooms on the second level, and 1 on the main level with an attached room with 2 twin beds that gave the younger children their own safe space to sleep. Pool - The salt water pool is amazing, about 4' deep, and was cleaned a couple of times during our visit. They have a large bluetooth speaker which keeps the party going at the pool until your brother starts playing country music. Keep your eye on the massive lizards up on the fence. Location - You can't really find a better location in Bucerias. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the best restaurants, bars, coffee, groceries, bakeries tacos and more tacos are in every direction. We felt safe the entire time. We even found a local bar up the road by the highway that had a dancing horse. True story. Staff - I could go on and on about the Hacienda, but it is only a house and the staff is what makes this place truly special. Patricia cooks superb meals, Angelita keeps everything looking fresh, and Andreas ensures that you have everything you need - from pitchers of margaritas, restaurant recommendations, taxis, finding the English channel for football games or keeping the cooler neatly iced and packed. Andreas is a stud. Thank you for all of your hospitality! I cannot say enough about what a truly special place Hacienda Camino al Mar is and would recommend to anyone looking for a get away from the ordinary, the memories made will last a lifetime.

My friends and I had a great time. Very homie feeling. VERY SAFE!! The food was cooked for us twice a day, and the food was amazing. Olga and Angel can throw down some food. This was our first time in. Air BB and I would totally do it again.

If you are hesitant into booking this Villa for your vacation, don’t be! We just came back from a week here celebrating my husband 40th with 10 of our closest family members, plus 2 kids under the age of 3. We already can't wait to go back . I am not even sure where to begin, this place exceeded our expectations by far. I will start off by the house. There are 4 rooms up top and 2 on the bottom, All the rooms are very spacious, and very separate from one another, so you can have some privacy. There is a huge rooftop patio overlooking the street. We ended many of our nights on the roof listening to live music as there a few bars right beside the house, including a sports bar, that you could watch any sports game you wanted. That was great touch as we could watch football Sunday and Vancouver Canucks games and just have to walk out our door. The downstairs has a huge living room with an oversized couch that basically is one whole wall - it is right beside the pool, so when the kids needed some down time, it was very easy to watch over them while still enjoying some pool time. It has an authentic Mexican vibe throughout the whole house, which was great. The market is right down the street as well and there are tons of cute shops as you walk down to it. The beach is literally 1 minute walk, you walk out the door and take a left and you see the water and walk 30 seconds till you hit the beach – I was a bit worried on how far the walk would be especially with littles and carrying our stuff but it was much closer than I thought. But this is where the staff comes in especially Miguel! The staff was AMAZING!!! The cook Olga - omg the food was soo soo good, we ate like kings and queens all week! Breakfast, lunch, dinner – every meal was delicious, authentic Mexican food, we all left at least 10 pounds heavier but all worth it to eat that good all week! Angela kept our rooms and house tidy; she would even help with babies - We even felt comfortable enough to leave one of the babies there one day for a nap while we had some beach time. They were both super sweet ladies, very helpful and did a great job taking care of us and the kids. But what made our week at the Villa even more amazing was Miguel – From the moment we walked inside the house to the minute we left he was taking care of us. I don’t even think I can put into words what he did for us for the week. From making us drinks all week long, seating us at all the meals, making sure my glass was full with Pinot Grigio, to carrying all the stuff down to the beach and setting it all up for us to only bring it back up a few hours later. Whatever we needed we would ask, and it was done. He arranged our bus to Sayulita for the day , the bus stayed with us in Sayulita so we could keep our belongings in the Van and have it around if the babies needed to cool down and it came at no extra charge - For my husbands 40th birthday dinner, he went out of his way and surprised us all at dinner with Marchetti band, it was such a nice surprise and a great way to end the birthday dinner by singing and dancing. That was just one of the many things he did for us. He made us feel so comfortable and at home for the week, and you can’t get that at any resort. He is such a pleasure to be around, it’s like we almost know him already. I told him we would be back and I promised him that! Thank you to Miguel, Olga and Angela for taking such good care of us and the kids to celebrate Chris 40th birthday, it was a vacation we will always remember. We will be back!!! Miss you all already! This is our first night at Hacienda Camino Al Mar and we have found the paradise that we have been looking for! Far enough away from the crowds of Vallarta With a staff that literally has made this a trip of a lifetime! And we just got here today! We will be back as soon as possible and Miguel, Olga, and Angie are the best chefs and bartenders too!

Let me start by saying that we stayed in Casita Camino al Mar, which is the guest home connected to this beautiful property. The Casita is spectacular with: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large private pool, indoor/outdoor living and traditional Mexican design/decor. The location in Bucerias is wonderful - probably the best. I've been traveling to Bucerias for almost 25 years now (my mother lives there) and this was our first time staying at this beautiful property. Of all the things that made our trip special, the most memorable part was the staff at the Casita. We have taken many trips over the years and usually to properties, or on large boats, with staff. We have had the pleasure of being taken care of by many people, but Mary and Karen are at the very top of our list. Their service, hospitality, warmth, attention to detail and ability to go above and beyond our expectations was truly amazing. This is the only place we will stay, upon our return to Buecrias.
