Interesting for a visit if u are in the area but definitely not worth a trip from far away. It's a ruin of a hacienda without specific detail or beauty. Actually it is quite dirty and run down. There are better places to get the flavour of a Mexican range.

You are still able to visit inside the buildings.

Delightful surprise after traveling a far-piece off the main drag from Celestun to Merida. This abandoned Hacienda is located in the center of an ancient Mayan town and is always open to the public (no doors, locks or admission cost). Other than local kids playing soccer on the grounds, we had the place to ourselves. I was torn between wanting to rescue and renovate the estate and conversely loving the fact that it's an open space, utilized by the locals. Wish I had known more of the history before visiting the town.
