En su momento de mayor esplendor este fue el principal centro de acopio y distribución de granos en el centro del país. Actualmente cuenta con atractivos naturales en donde pueden realizarse distintas actividades.
Cuenta con un hotel, 3 salones para fiestas, dos jardines, una capilla, y 60 habitaciones.
The construction of the Hacienda de Atlamaxac was completed at the end of the 17th century. In its architecture there are features with French influence. At its peak, this was the main grain collection and distribution center in the center of the country. Currently has natural attractions where different activities can be performed.
