Beautiful place. We were looking at this venue to get married, but Jaime the wedding planner was incredibly rude and pretentious. He wouldn't give us prices, only cared about his commission. He didn't give us a tour, he literally waited for us in the hotel lobby while we wandered around for half an hour. We had to keep asking the staff where he was and they finally told us that he was in the lobby. He got mad when we would ask questions. Got irritated when I was translating for my fiance. He gave us totally different prices for the rooms. We were more than willing to pay upfront for the wedding but because of his rude attitude we looked elsewhere. He apparently doesn't know how much a basic setup would cost. I thought that was his job? He only showed us pictures of his work but wouldn't even give us pricings for what he's done in the past. Ridiculously mediocre service by this guy.

Always nice place tito stay when visiting with family in the area. Very relaxing nice staff and great and consistent food.

Blown away , asking for room service at 23h30 , the guy on the phone can only say “no” . Food and service I understand but we were in the middle of nowhere and they wouldn’t even serve us a bottle of wine that we were willing to pay 4 times the price for. For this price ? Last time ever .

Ahhhhh, a beautiful place to rest, disconnect from the world and connect with your loved one. Enjoyed the grounds soo much! The food was great and the owners attentiveness made it even more pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Beautiful historic place to spend a night. All the promised facilities are there, however, perhaps a little less shiny than portrayed. You can play golf, but it's rather a regular field with some unkept holes (no greens). There is a spa, but they closed the sauna and the steam room because of Covid, that means that the "aquatic circuit" really only is a lukewarm jacuzzi and a shower. The pool is there, it is quite small. Although all of that must be said too..., I really do recommend this place for it's beauty, the good food, nice breakfast and great service!

The building was built around the 1950s. The power goes out for a split second randomly. Not in my room for anything other than sleep so I dont even know how often it happens. In 3 days its happened 2 times. Location is far from most major towns but it is more than worth the extra mile! The rooms are refurbished from whatever they had back when it was built for originally. Service is more than excellent and the employees are very kind. No one here really speaks any English though so don't go there expecting that and getting upset please, they don't need to hear it. Almost all the food is grown, processed, and cooked straight from their gardens and animals such as chickens eggs for example. Very down to earth place and great for photos!!!

This hotel is magic, mystery, surprise (in the best possible way). Every detail was attended to and cared for during our stay. The rooms are well appointed, the grounds are fabulously maintained, the food and surroundings are majestic. The chef accommodated our dinner requests, the meals were accompanied with wonderful live music, and the service was top notch. Staying here is like taking a step back in time- but with modern comforts. Please go here! Prepare to relax and step away from the stresses of daily life. I've stayed in too many hotels to count, and this one is at the top of my list. I will recommend it to anyone and everyone I know!
