★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is Tequila Heaven! There are literally hundreds of choices to choose from and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend Hacienda Jalisco if you're looking for any type of tequila!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place mostly exists to sell tourists jewelry and tequila during tours. It's a gimmick so you get a discounted rate on the accompanied tour to Coba ect. Staff is not friendly or accommodating, and mildly condescending when you explain you are not interested in buying their products. At the tequila store staff literally waits for tourists to come in by the bus load and ambushes them when they come in. If you don't want to buy anything, they tell you to sit down and wait for your transportation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our visit to this store was part of a free trip to Playa Del Carmen. At our arrival we were met by a member of their staff who took us for a tequila tasting. The tequila was very good. He explained the various differences between each tequilas. Also promised us that their prices were lower than anywhere else in Playa Del Carmen or the Cancún Airport. He repeated that many times. He led us to believe they made their own tequila by showing us the barrels in which they are made, but I'm not sure if that's actually correct. Anyway we were dumb enough to believe him about the price and bought a bottle of tequila. Turns out, in Playa Del Carmen, you can buy the same kind of tequila for 4x less!! What a scam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK place to visit but I recommend not buying tequila there. WAY WAY OVER PRICED. A bottle of Mezcal there is $20, I saw the same bottle at 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen for $9. Go taste tequila, take pics and leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sold to us as a tour of a "tequila factory". No, it's a tourist trap, where they grossly overcharge for tequila and cheap souvenir products. The promised "tequila tasting" was giving you literally millilters of product that could barely fall on your tongue out of the little shot cup, and then having a salesperson follow you around until you leave. The prices are outlandish, I could barely stop from laughing out loud when the salesperson told us how much they were charging.
