Se tienen referencias de la hacienda desde finales del siglo XVIII los dueños originales de la hacienda fueron la familia Martínez, y posteriormente fue vendida al señor Dionisio González I, minero y comerciante. Parte de esta propiedad se ha mantenido por cinco generaciones más. La hacienda colindaba al Norte con las haciendas Noria de Muñoz y La Labor, al Sur con ejidos de Hermosillo, al Oriente. RECIBE LAS Durante el movimiento revolucionario, en 1917, la hacienda fue tomada por Pancho Villa y su ejército, quien la usó como cuartel para atacar Hermosillo; de esta ciudad salió el general Manuel M. Diéguez y la famosa pelea fue en los terrenos de la hacienda, saliendo derrotado el general Villa y quien posteriormente se retiró a la ciudad de Nogales. Cuento con información obtenida durante el trabajo de campo en entrevista a Josefina Camacho que recuerda: “un día llegó Pancho Villa y sus tropas a la hacienda, a nosotras las mujeres nos escondieron en una de las bodegas, para que no nos hicieran nada los soldados de Villa; después de algunos días cuando ya se retiraron las tropas salimos y pudimos ver a muchos muertos, algunos eran soldados de Villa y otros del general Diéguez”. En 1934, se adjudica al Banco de México porciones de la sucesión del señor Dionisio González II y de los señores León y Arturo Serna. Los bienes adjudicados fueron los siguientes: la acción o derecho real de dominio que la expresada Sucesión González, representaba en el Alamito y sus anexos. El Zacatón, terrenos comprados a la municipalidad de Hermosillo, los que fueron huecos y baldíos del Alamito y las demasías de este predio, con extensión de 40,282 hectáreas. Los terrenos Los Ángeles, El Ranchito y La Virgen que forman parte integrante del Alamito con superficie de 5,266 hectáreas. En la década de los treinta debido a la política agraria del presidente Lázaro Cárdenas, una parte de los terrenos de la hacienda El Alamito fueron afectados para la formación de algunos ejidos tales como: San Pedro El Saucito, El Alamito (Tronconal), y parte del ejido La Victoria. La hacienda contaba en ese momento con 565 hectáreas de terrenos de riego y 10,594 hectáreas de terrenos para cría de ganado.
