We rented Hacienda Sac Chich in late January for our wedding and held the reception there. The hacienda itself is beautiful and was above expectations. Cyndy and her husband were welcoming and more than helpful for any needs we had. They have cleaners come through every day to do dishes and help keep the hacienda clean and tidy. While the hacienda is a little out of the way from the main city, the journey is more than worth it for what it has to offer.

This amazing hacienda and event site is not only beautiful with scenic grounds; it's staff is excellent at providing the required services. Hacienda Sac Chic was the site of our daughter's wedding. From early morning until late at night everything went off without a hitch. It is a wonderful site if you are planning a wedding or other event.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Hacienda. Our son had his wedding there in January 2020 and everything was perfect. First of all the location is spectacular and the service fabulous. The staff could not have been more accommodating!!!!

Hacienda Sac Chich is an absolute dream! The property is stunning and was the perfect venue for our wedding. A little bit removed from Merida, you have plenty of peace and quiet while still being able to easily get into the city center.

We just spent the last two blissful weeks first at Casa Sisal and then at Casa Vieja. We wanted to get away during Covid, but have a secluded experience. This was totally accomplished as the properties are very well managed, and communication was seamless with Jillian and Javier, the gracious managers. The staff came to clean at a specific time so we knew when to give them space. The properties are totally private, luxurious and stunningly beautiful. And of course safe. We hired the staff to do a grocery shop, which was money well spent. Going into Merida is fun, but not so much to have to go to Costco and Walmart to shop. There is a farmers market on Sunday in Merida that is fabulous for hard to find products...beautiful greens, fresh pasta, homemade sausages and cheese and artisan bread. Grocery stores in Acanceh, the closest town, have staples and you can find fresh vegetables. But beware, there is NO hard liquor in town, only beer. There’s an ATM or two in Acanceh as well. Also, the lady at the store directly outside the gate of the hacienda sells homemade food. We bought Sopa de Pollo and it was delicious. You can also buy fresh tortillas outside the gate to the right a half block down on your left. If you can spend any sort of time at either property, you will not be sorry. It’s truly one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy.

Words cannot express how wonderful, peaceful and thoughtful my stay was at Casa Sisal. Went with 2 girlfriends for my 40th birthday. We woke up every morning to the sound of tropical birds and went to bed every night to the sound of frogs and crickets with lightning bugs all around. The space is magical and just stunning from every view. All the amenities were great and I loved the organic toiletries. The pool was pristine and very relaxing. Watched the blood moon eclipse there and it was spectacular. I would HIGHLY recommend having breakfast made for you. It was so fresh and delicious and some of the best yogurt and granola I’ve ever had. Jillian was so responsive and kind to all of our requests and was always around to help if we needed anything. I am dreaming of the time when I can come back to Casa Sisal with other friends so they can experience this wonderful place.

Words cannot describe the magic that is found here. We choose Hacienda Sac Chich for our wedding April 2022 after touring many haciendas surrounding Mérida. The second you pull through the gates you’re transported into a secluded tropical oasis that has been meticulously designed by the owners. We had an excellent experience with the property manager Jillian and she went above and beyond providing recommendations and allowing us and our vendors visit the property a few times when planning our wedding. We have not stopped receiving compliments on our venue selection and choosing Mérida as the destination. It was honestly the most magical place and we’re so lucky to have the memory of our wedding here. Our 3 night stay was perfect for our families to be together for our wedding weekend. The accommodations were very well equipped and everyone really enjoyed spending time at the hacienda. The breakfast we had prepared by the staff was incredible and the daily housekeeping was wonderful. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and helped in every way they could. Whether you’re hosting a wedding or simply booking for a stay, Hacienda Sac Chich will exceed every expectation and leave you wanting more. We can’t wait to come back!
