Very close to Valladolid , but at the same time far enough to have a great getaway experience.

Very nice hacienda in the middle of the jungle at 15mn from Valladolid. Rooms are decent but outdated and the in need of maintenance. the grounds and surroundings are beautiful though.

This place is awesome in so many ways! First off, I didn't realize, when I booked it, that it had so much history. Many of the buildings were built in the 1600's. We stayed in a bungalow. Lots of space. No TV, which I love. You feel one with nature when you can open your windows at night and hear the sounds of the jungle. The grounds are beautiful. I only gave it a 4 star because the beds are quite hard. If they were comfortable I'd say this is one of the strongest 5 stars I could give.

Omg, I don't have enough words to say how AMAZING this place is. The staff is EXCELLENT, superb hospitality, and flexibility. This new administration is doing an incredible job!!! The food is homemade tasty, the balance between service and price is great!!. They have a very nice pool with food service, a chapel and a board games room. It's also a small farm, so you might see some chickens, rusters, geese, and peacocks around. Mazapan is the newest addition, small white kitten. The beds are the most comfortable ever, and the place is calm and quiet, which completes a great night stay. I'd definitely 1000% will come back.

I can’t speak highly enough of Hacienda San Miguel!! After having two hotel bookings fall through in Tulum, we decided to head inland towards Valladolid. We booked through an online portal for a room here. When we arrived, Caesar walked us around the grounds and discussed the history of the place. He also shared that the room we were supposed to stay in needed some maintenance so they upgraded us to one of the Villas. Wow! The villa was GORGEOUS. Cute little place with ample space. Juan and Caesar were both spectacular hosts and we decided to extend our stay from 2 to 3 nights. The grounds were peaceful and had good wi-fi. My boyfriend had to do an online class for 4 hours and the internet held up really well. I, however, went to sit by the pool and read in one of the hammocks. Absolute joy. Valladolid is only 10 mins away and this is a beautiful, quiet haven just outside of town. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun, Cozumel, and Tulum - make this your destination. It was only 45 mins from Chichen Itza as well! Oh, and they had breakfast served from 8-10am plus a coffee maker in the room. Always need to have enough caffeine around :)

An amazing old hacienda just outside of Valladolid. Juan was really the perfect host. Staying at an hacienda with so much history is a must when staying at Yucatan. I think the only slight minor was the breakfast, it could have been better. But room was nice and the bed was comfy.
