★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had wonderful weekend stay at Hda. Sta. Rosa. The staff was very attentive and respectful. The Restaurant food has a good selection a regional as well as few international options. (The angus burger was EXCELLENT!!), and the rooms were nicely maintained during our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are visiting Yucatan, then I recommend this hotel. It is about 45mins from Merida but well situated to various places you'll want to visit. The hotel is rustic and luxury from that POV. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. It was a really relaxing trip for the 4 of us that went. The hotel is also pet friendly, the other couple with us had a dog.
Food-wise, breakfasts were great, other meals there are one or two items that are really good otherwise not much to speak of...they do make a great margarita!
We used the Spa and really enjoyed that as well.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Loved it. Will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed with my husband for one night. It was a great experience. I just have 2 recommendations. Food could be better. Yucatecan cuisine is amazing but you can not feel the yucatecan typical flavor in the dishes. Another thing was that maybe is because of the humidity of the place but pillows smelled a bit weird because of that reason. However, I would definitely come back and recommend this place 100%.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calm and secluded w great staff and service. Not your ordinary hotel a private and very special hideaway. Uncrowded local experience - loved our private pool, ac rooms, attentive staff, great spa, one improvement can be that the menu could have a broader range of authentic Mexican food (mole, ceviches, tomatoes) and better cocktails and the toiletries and room amenities could be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous 11 room hacienda perfectly restored. When we arrived, we were greeted with agua de chaya, as well as wine and fruit in the room. The staff were splendid and full of great regional knowledge - Fidel was an exceptional server. We stayed in Room 5, which has an amazing outdoor shower with 100-yr old tree roots growing around the shower head, and a courtyard jacuzzi surrounded by jungle and hacienda walls. Truly amazing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful smaller hacienda. The hospitality is not intrusive yet I never waited long for what I needed. Marriott status goes a long way here. Food is quite good. Rooms are just incredible. The tubs, shower, beds… and waking up to the birds and nature. Walking the grounds is a real treat also. I highly recommend for a night or two, especially from Merida.
