★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice hotel and staff ! 4 years ago I stayed in the hotel. I extended my stay for many days and would definitely like to go back! The hotel Manager helped us to organize and to make a riding trip on the beach ?. I have really good memories about my vacation in San Carlos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adequate rooms. But a strange procedure for checking out. Then come and inspect the room after you have removed luggage and belongings. You aren't officially checked out until the inspector gives a thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very comfortable. Beach access right across the street. The best thing is that it's pet friendly. Be aware that we asked for no cleaning because of our dog and cleaning lady went in anyway and my dog ran out of the room while we were not there. The hotel called us and we had to drive 20 minutes to go find her .. she was a few blocks away from the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, great price and property is clean. The door lock to my room was not secure and the only back up was a chain lock. The hotel is going through massive renovations so I assume my issues will be rectified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The grounds and pool are very nice and well maintained. It is close to the beach and there's a nice restaurant on the grounds. Although I always tip the maids, they do a great job keeping things cleaned up and fresh. The water is hot. Negative: The road entrance could use some work as it is pretty rough. The rooms are aging and need some attention.
