★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is a little biased.. Or not. Ive been drinking a little but I guess since I'm in a good mood maybe it's the atmosphere. Could also be the excellent live music.. The lady just sang a blues style cover of radioheads creep. I'm about to taste the food. Very very friendly people. Im here with my uncle and they seem to know him and treat him like family. That's always cool. Definitely worth a try.. I dont miss American style stuff here but they do a good job keeping it mexico but with new orelans style. U want good service but also not to be annoyed by people and very decent prices.. Compared to the states insane good prices.. Come here. Tomate una chela y relax

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry that this review is in English, but I'm U.S. I have been to New Orleans often in my life and dined in many restaurants there. So I feel qualified to say that Hank's is "the real deal". We went on a Thursday night. It was crowded but the owner and the manager both made time to greet us as well as check back with us later to see how we were doing. We sat in the bar and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent. And the Hurricane was perfect. We tried the octopus carpaccio, fried shrimp, and crab cakes among other delicious items. I highly recommend this restaurant for the friendly staff, New Orleans ambience, and great food!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! The music was awesome, the food was delicious, and the price wasn't too bad. There are a few sections. One is the bar where the band was playing (on my visit). This one has high tables with bar stools and the decor is really artsy. The other is a smoking lounge if you smoke. It is brighter and it has lounge chairs and side tables. The other part is classier with table clothes and table chairs. The decor is more subtle. I recomend this place 100% if your in the area.

We were a bit nostalgic about NOLA, so we decided to come to the closest best thing. They do offer you one free beignet. Breakfast combo was really filling and price was inexpensive. Coffee, orange juice, fruit, and more.
