We've both been to Hawaii several times and the food at Hawaiian Kitchen is just like you'd find on the islands! The chef is an islander and the staff is superb! We had the #1 and loved it but we also ordered a side of the garlic fried chicken and that was our favorite! Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back! Can't wait until they add Spam and eggs to the breakfast menu!

The chef is bringing authentic Hawaiian dishes to PDC and you can taste the love he puts into these dishes. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Shoutout to the waiter Arturo who was very kind and attentive. I can’t wait to go back!

Friendly staff, amazing food. For a second it did feel as we were in Hawaii trying their amazing cuisine. Highly recommend to everyone visiting.

Really great service and the food was outstanding. The spam masubi and chicken/pork plate was incredible. I’ve been to hawaii before and this place really tastes like food from Hawaii. A great gem of a place in Playa. One for he rare authentic cultural food restaurants in Playa. I would highly recommend trying this place. For now it’s cash only. But it’s worth a visit. I can’t wait to try the poke bowls next.

I was especially skeptical given that my first trip to Hawaii, taken just a few months ago, is still pretty fresh on my palette. I ordered the bbq chicken plate (para llevar) at my server’s recommendation. He didn’t steer me wrong, and I was very pleased with my meal and the cost. I look forward to coming back soon for the fried garlic chicken. I hope this place sticks around!

Best coconut shrimp in town without a doubt. The tuna is also wonderful. Fresh and served at the right temperature with rice and a nice sauce. First time here I had the chicken and the pulled pork combo plate w macaroni and cheese and Cole slaw. Everything always tastes great and is freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

The poke was prepared to perfection with thoughtful combinations and flavor, paired with the coconut shrimp, it’s a dish I’m still thinking about As they are now starting to serve breakfast, I was able to try their green juice and it did not disappoint. What a find!
