To start I’m going to say I don’t usually leave reviews. But for Greg at Healing Hands I cant not. I come down from Canada for the winter, and the one thing I count on is being able to feel my feet again from Greg’s superior knowledge. I was a drywaller for over 40 years and suffered with neck tension that caused severe headaches. Throughout all those years, I sought help from chiropractors and massage therapy but the problems would never disappear. Over a year ago, Greg gave me a few treatments using a resistance stretching method. He released the tension so much that one day I actually felt my neck muscles permanently let go and my shoulders drop back into place. I also had a trigger finger that almost daily would lock up. I would literally grab it and force it back into place. Greg released it so that only happens very, very rarely now. I have had problems my whole life with needing to drink water to push my food down. Greg was working in my mouth to release the neck muscles when he moved my esophagus to one side and gently pushed a bone protruding into my throat back into place. I no longer have to drink copious amounts of water to swallow my food. My wife had a 35 year old hip injury that she spent thousands on trying to fix with both chiropractic and massage therapy. She finally gave up on both. In the last 10 years, it got so bad that she couldn't get out of bed without holding onto the walls with her fist pushed into her butt trying to release the muscles. The injury also caused her knee to ache every night when she got into bed. After one resistance stretching treatment from Greg, both symptoms went away and have never returned. Greg is the best massage therapist I have gone to. He is also an osteopath. After my treatment, I woke up the next day pain free. I can’t recall the last time, I felt that good. His treatments are comparable in price to what I pay at home. Given how great I felt, I would have paid more. Magical hands, a true healer and a very fine human.

Greg is a very professional and knowledgeable osteopath. While I hear from friends that his relaxing massages are fantastic too, I went to him for corrective treatment to align my hips and to fix mild long-term neck problems I have been having for years. I could notice an improvement almost immediately. I now return to him now and again for preventative realignments. We service our cars, why not our spines? I would recommend Greg whole-heartedly and found his place easy to locate inside the small plaza in Old Town. He also does home visits.
