★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have never not liked an ice cream before and we didn't like any of our 4 flavors. They all had a weird texture. The mint chip was way too strong. The almendra was gross, it tasted like straight almond extract. The fresa strangely tasted like butter. The oreo was OK but we would prefer the off brand from the grocery store. I just ate the cone and threw the ice cream away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I normally love ice cream, but the flavour I had here today tasted old and was icy. Not good quality. The flavours aren't labelled, and the staff was rude and pushy when I was trying to decide on a flavour. There are lots of other places around Coyocan to have a delicious ice cream!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best helados in Mexico. With so many that are amazing this one is just not up to par. The service is not that good either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more popular Sunday gathering spots in Mexico City, Coyoacán attracts many kinds of groups including locals, tourists, families, couples, and church goers. The place offers a unique kind of hustle and bustle reminds one of those crowded street markets in Asia. With a short stroll around the square, you can walk into a historical church built by the Spaniards hundreds years ago, outside you will find small restaurants and ice cream shops like this one. Probably due to its location, the place has a continuous line of patrons for a decent (nothing spectacular) scoop of ice cream. I had the coffee flavored ice cream that’s a bit too sweet, lacked coffee’s bitterness accompanied by a cup of cappuccino, enjoyable while getting street vendors coming up from time to time to sell all kinds of different toys.
It’s a highly recommended place to visit in Mexico City if you look for authentic experience of a day in life in Mexico.
