★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic ice cream, with the old charm of the original Thrifty Ice Cream stores in California, in the 1970's and 1980's. I doubt it is related to the original, but this version tastes great. They even use the old style circular scoop tool for larger servings. Brings back great memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t been in a few months, and boy what a disappointment.
The store looks run down. There’s stuff piled up in some areas, the refrigerator where they used to have waters, milk etc is gone, so they cannot make specials.
The ice chests with packaged litters to take home look dirty and are almost empty.
Most of all, they only have like 5 or six of the flavors they used to have.
I even asked the employees if the store is about to close for good. Apparently no, they’re not closing. They obviously just don’t care
