Hertz - 15520 Ciudad de México

AVOID AT ALL COST!I am not one to complain much but I got to this location. I called 3 times when I landed telling them I was behind because my flight go delayed. They said it was fine. I got to the counter and they said they didn’t have anymore cars. Like nothing and to just cancel my reservation. I called the booking company and they talked to them to work things out since RentalCars.com was willing to pay the difference. The woman at the counter just got nasty and hung up on her and told her that they had no cars. I checked online and there were so many available. Do not rent from this place. My entire family trip just got canceled since we were gonna drive to another state and spend the weekend there. I could not book flights or do anything else to get there. I will just spend my days here in the city with the family. It was going to be my first time renting a car and will never try it again.

The contract I got during pick-up was above my quote and they couldn't tell me why. Told me they'll call back but never did. During drop-off I was told it's due to additional insurance (on top of the complimentary one that I was aware of). First time I had this kind of scam at Hertz. Will think twice before using Hertz in future.

Shady, unethical. Even after a class action lawsuit against them they are still charging more than what’s quoted when you make a reservation. Nothing was wrong with the car they gave me but I don’t appreciate the extra charges. I was quoted $339 in the email to me and $452 at the airport ($440 if I paid with my debit card). It’s no way to treat customers. Never a problem in the US but always a problem in Mexico for some reason.

My experience was great I would say, I rented a VW Vento 2020 & purchased the highest possible insurance & had the vehicle for 9 days. The total came out to 18K pesos (≈$740USD). The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the Vento is such a small car lacking in so much tech inside lol, I mean I get it it's Mexico but it felt so cheaply made from the inside but whatever I drove it to Morelos, Puebla, Tlaxcala & the car was great and didn't break down, I had no issues overall. I just felt that for that price I should have been driving the VW Jetta or similar.

They didn’t want to provide me a car because I’m from Ukraine. Such a shame for the company and people work there

The team of hertz helped me amazing! They were amazing! We had to much luggage but they were so helpful and made sure everything was going to fit in the car. Amazing! Never had that good of a experience ??

I don’t want to complain and I never do for reviews just want to warn others. Don’t bother reserving a car here. Had a horrible experience trying to pick up our reservation. As soon as you reject insurance they will say your car is not available then try to charge you more with a totally different car. Save your money and time with these guys.

This location is absolutely appalling. The service is truly the worst I have experience. It is very disappointing how such a reputable brand can employ such mediocre staff with a horrible attitude. The staff refused to honor my online reservation and wanted to charge me four times the amount for the same car. They took my credit card payment and faked a “declined” prompt while my bank confirmed with me that the transaction was never attempted. I lost four hours of my life at this so called establishment and I regret every minute of it.
