Hertz - 45040 Zapopan

Attended right away, they need to have more vehicles available but other then that rented and SUV cheaper the other big rental companies. Returned it at the airport hertz with no problems

Very expensive to rent a car, almost a rip-off, I had rented a car for 4 days, the price was given $2600 pesos per day for a compact car, I found Alamo and found their cars are $800-900 pesos per day for a similar one, I rented from Alamo and returned the Hertz the next day. I paid at Hertz in 1 day what I paid at Alamo for 3. Stay away.

Stay away from this place. After I made my reservation online they were trying to charge me 600 dls for the insurance only for 4 days. Ridiculously unprofessional after I had already paid for the insurance from Expedia. I had to cancel my rental, it's pretty sad that Mexico wants to take advantage of their own people or turist in general. I don't recommend to anyone to rent a car from Hertz Guadalajara Mexico.

We reserved a car and there were no cars available. They told us to wait and see if one came back. This is not a place to rent a car if you have plans. Do not recommend!

Wish I could give no starts. This place is HORRIBLE, they over charge for everything and are thieves. Save your time and DONT come here . You will regret it !

Never rent from them liars cheats. I gave them 1 star because I could not go with zero stars. If you want to risk your life with the car they give you than your a thrill seeker. Than you get over charged.

WARNING!! TERRIBLE Customer Service - made a pre-paid reservation online for a Suburban. Based on their online system, the vehicle was available. Based on other reviews, I decided to call in to see if they actually had the vehicle that I had PRE-PAID for and as it turns out, they didn't. The lady that answered the phone proceeded to request a copy of my driver's license and a secondary piece of identification be sent to her via the very secure (sarcasm) WhatsApp app before she could confirm that she'd be able to secure the Suburban that I had paid for. Instead of providing all this sensitive info, I asked the lady to call the other Hertz locations to see if they were going to be able to satisfy my reservation. She said she would and would call me back. She never called me back. And, each time that I tried to call them back again, they sent me straight to voicemail. I proceeded to cancel my reservation on Hertz's online system and my bank is now investigating a possible fraudulent scenario.

Inept, lazy and corrupt. Decided not to honor our car reservation, they told us they did not have the car, or even an equal car, that we reserved months in advance. The service person also told us the reservation could not be honored without additional insurance purchase. We showed them the confirmation, and they just looked away and stuck to their story. This location is not only a Thrifty rep, they also rep Enterprise and Hertz, I believe. The only logo on the shop was Hertz. Apparently the hustle was to have us pay extra to get the car we wanted. We did not stick around to play their game.
