Never renting from here again. Really bad customer service. The guy wasn’t really interested in helping me out. He even told me to go check out a competitor. I got a better deal with a different rental company.

When renting cars in Mexico I always use alamo. Since alamo isn't available in Toluca I went with Hertz . My reservation was for a Jetta and had to upgrade to a BMW. All because I declined their insurance option given the fact that my American Express card covers car rental. Well since they are not making money off of the costumer with the insurance they tell you that your vehicle isn't available. They give priority to costumers that prepay with insurance coverage even though you have a confirmation. The BMW was a 2016 with plenty of scratches on body and rim . On my return day I was charged $500 dlls. For a tire that had a lump which I did not cause. I over looked checking the tires for imperfection the day I received the car. I recommend using any other car rental place and double check every part of the vehicle including tires apparently.

If you are planning to rent a car please review even under it. When I returned the car they mentioned flaws under the front bumper and that wasn't reviewed when we got the car. The customer service basically does not exist, there's a phone number which is the same for all the outlets but they tell you to ask any information directly in the outlet. Choose any other agency.

I ordered through the internet. They did not have a problem on the spot when I came to pick up the car later than 1.5h. Unfortunately, they did not have the same time to return (but ordered time). The lady spoke just a little English at the counter, but it was enough for an agreement. She was friendly. She added one more insurance... my mistake that I did not notice. Good price, I got a discount thanks to the frequent flayer program. The car was ready, the pick-up from the garage itself was a moment. The car was no problem. I waited a few minutes to return because no one was at the counter (returning time 7:30AM). The returning was pretty fast. One star down just for details. From my point of view, I can recommend. For Czech - bez problému vzali i debetní kartu. Blokace byla 4000MXN, vrácena po pár dnech, kdy vyúčtovali platbu za půjčení. Když se bude ptát na zemi trvalého pobytu, zkuste "Československo", Česko nějak nemohla najít :)

I reserved a Midsize car for 12/29/17 and got a confirmation (screenshot attached). When I showed up for pickup at 9 AM, the salesperson said the only car he had available was a minivan. It’s mildly frustrating when they don’t hold the car you reserved but no big deal, I thought, things happen occasionally and I suppose it was a peak season around the holidays. Then the salesperson asked us to pay for an upgrade. I have been given a different class car from agencies in the past, but no rental agency in past has ever asked me to pay because of their mistake. I let them know that it’s not a problem that the vehicle class they’re offering me is different, but upgrade fee was a problem. When I asked for the same rate that I reserved because their failure to hold my reservation isn’t my mistake, the salesperson brought up one excuse after another, all irrelevant to the issue and refused to rent me the minivan without the upgrade fee. When I asked to speak to the manager, the manager was of no help. The sales agent at one point said that the minivan he was offering me was pre-paid for by another customer and he needed to charge me more for it! It defies belief that the corporate lets these people get away with such business practice. It was clear that they were price gouging me, knowing the supply in general was limited at the time. I was lucky that I could afford to spend another night in Toluca and rented a car from AVIS. Carlos from AVIS office only a few steps over bent over backwards to obtain a car for the next day and I’d highly recommend them if you’re a foreigner needing a car in Toluca. I initially reserved at Hertz specifically because I’ve had poor experience with no-name budget rental agencies in Mexico before and I mistakenly hoped Hertz would provide me a no-nonsense service. Boy was I wrong. I’d strongly recommend against ever renting here. Go to AVIS, or another agency where you can find an english-speaking sales person, preferably one with some customer-service experience.

Rented a car for just 1 day, pretty inexpensive even with full coverage. We had to drop off the car after hours, so we called customer service and they told us what to do. Next day I called just to make sure everything was ok. The whole process was pretty easy, customer service was helpful, and the person that rented us the car was helpful and nice

DO NOT RENT HERE! After renting about 50 cars in different locations, this was seriously the worst of them all. First, I was sent from Mexico City to Toluca after my reservation was messed up, then I had to take a bus for 1 1/2 hours there. Once arrived we went through all the paperwork (which took about half an hour), just to receive the information that the reserved car was actually not available. The only alternative I was offered was a car one class higher for 12.000 MX$ additional costs. In the end, I ended up without receiving a car or any type of solution & did not even receive a refund for the prepaid rental fee. There were four other clients who either received a wrong (smaller) vehicle or no car at all. It seems this office is just a mess!
