Can not honor a pre-paid reservation

I hated the whole experience, I felt as I was being scammed. They blocked our credit card we had to place an international call to our bank because they would over pass the machine asking for a password. And was saying the credit card was declined. We stayed there 4 hours to rent. It was a nightmare. Right before NYE no other free car in the whole city. It was awful.

Terrible service with no accountability. First they showed up 30 minutes later than their opening time, second they couldn't honor a reservation, they said they can't control what HERTZ does LOL. Totally dissatisfied with this location and this the HERTZ brand. Going to AVIS.

Very bad experience. Hertz rented us a Pickup which was not allowed to dirve on the main roads (cariles centrales) in MX city. After 15 min we were stoped by the Police!!

Do not rent from this place. I had an emergency trip to Mexico City and I wanted to rent a car to be able to move around in the city (big mistake) We rented the car online becuase I dont like the tourist traps. When My cousins and I arrived at Hertz, the sales rep asked for my IDs. I realized I had forgotten my passport at the hotel. So I naively asked if my wife could fax them a copy from the hotel. The sales rep told me that company policy wouldnt allow him to accept it. I decided to call my wife and ask her to bring me my passport, I had not hung up when the police showed up. The person in the back went outside to talk to them and I didnt think anything of it. When the employee that talked to the police came back inside, called to the back the the sales rep. When the sales rep came back, he informed us that he didnt have any cars available for us. I told him that my wife was on her way with my passport and that I was willing to take any car. That I had my confirmation number from Expedia iterinary 72122488435636 and confirmation # J81041723D9 . The sales rep claimed there were no cars available. We asked for directions for another place and he actually gave it to us. This came to be more shocking when we walked out and the police stopped us, saying that the store called them. I almost went to jail in a the city! July 1st.

STAY AWAY. CRIMINAL SCAMMERS. WILL CHARGE FOR FAKE DAMAGES. First, they did not honor a reservation and charged twice as much. They also will make you buy the insurance even if you insist on denying their coverage. When we returned the car, they found a tiny imperfection in the tire. Completely unnoticeable. It did not show up in any pictures. They charged us $5200. We tried disputing it for hours. They were rude and dismissive. They took advantage of us because we are foreigners. Overall it cost over 4 times as much as the initial online price.

DO NOT RENT HERE! we rented a car here and they first would not honor the price online and were asking us to pay double.. We explained that we had car rental insurance with our credit card but they said that we had to purchase theirs to rent. Found some fake damage on a tire and made us pay close to $300 for it in addition. Total scam!

Car without floor mats, two tires low on air and they kept loosing air. Wouldn't honor prepaid reservation. Asked me if I took the floor mats after I dropped off the car. Charged me on my credit card and didn't use any of my points so I had to get in contact to get points refunded. Use another company. Terrible experience.
