What a horrible experience. I should had read all these 1 star reviews before renting from this company. I was told I could drop off the car at 3 am when in reality they don't open until 5 am. We aren't the people who like to run behind and felt like this was totally irresponsible since we couldn't had someone else return the vehicle

Do not make a reservation in advance. Reservations are not honored. I made my reservation a week before and low and behold there wasn't a car available when I went for my pickup. Customer service is poor. There were 3 employees standing around while I stood in line for at least 10 minutes until they finally decided to do their job when I asked for help. Thankfully they were willing to process a refund (how gracious of them). Next time I'd rather just gamble and try to make a same day reservation. Very disappointed I was never refunded for the reservation

RUN!!!!!! This place is a huge scam I got a better rate at Avis ,my rental reservation I originally booked for 170$ USD for 3 days plus 11$ insurance but then was told the one i booked wasnt honored but their insurance just for a basic plan was almost 500$ usd total scam Avis has better deals plus insurance included

I’ve rented here at least 5 times over the last couple of years and they are without a doubt the best option at BJX. During my last visit my agent was Kassandra and she was very professional, enthusiastic, and helpful after a difficult day of travel. They are lucky to have her. I usually reserve through Hertz.com and bring a copy of my reservation (with price) and have never had any of the issues that some of the negative reviews mention. Many Americans don’t realize that the insurance provided by Amex does not include injury liability, so this is the insurance recommended by ALL rental car companies in Mexico. In the past I have opted out of this but will purchase in the future. I look forward to using this location in the future. All of the cars I’ve rented from them have had Apple CarPlay, which is important to me. I have also tried Avis and Economy at BJX and will never use either of them again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. You do a reservation online and when you get here they charge you more. The service was horrible, they can’t do anything because that’s what their system tells them. After they threaten us so much of what where to happen if we didn’t get their car insurance because our credit card already had it, we decided to cancel. We won’t get our money back until 10 days and they could care less, it was out of their hands they couldn’t do anything and they really just wanted us out.

I had to return a car at 5am due to an early morning flight and the office was closed. I could not find any agent or key drop box, so I had to put the key in the car. The problem was I tried to call Hertz custermer service to tell about that many many times, but no success. Mostly, an agent transferred to another agent as soon as I spoke English, but any agent never responded. Sometimes in silence for over 10min or hang up. They do not disclose local office phone number, so I have no way to tell them. Any person not speeking Spanish can not get any customer service from Hertz Mexico, even reservation change or accident.

HORRIBLE! Avoid at all cost. Never received my deposit back and was charged 600 USD extra on what I initially agreed upon. They add 20 extra fees by the end of the trip and force you to sign for it. 3rd party company so there is no phone number you can call to dispute anything. Amex couldn’t even help me with this one

Rent elsewhere ,it has been more than 10 days they never refunded our deposit. The phone number does not work, tried plenty of times. Calling corporate now to see what needs to be done. Please do not rent from here. Pay deposit with credit so you can dispute the charge if they do not return it. There is too many negative reviews, should have read before renting.
