★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esto es un juego de negociaciones. Ganas si logras sacar el carro por el mismo precio al cual lo reservaste en internet. Los precios en persona son de 2,500 pesos al día por los mas baratos mientras que en internet el mismo carro te cuesta 36 pesos al día. Como quiera es todo un reto lograr llevarte el carro a ese precio debido a todos los seguros y jaladas que te quieren agregar. La mejor estrategia es la siguiente, reserva por internet, lleva una tarjeta que incluya el seguro del carro(amex no tiene seguros para México entonces olvidala) y que tenga crédito disponible por mínimo 45k pesos para el bloqueo de seguridad que hacen (sube a 65k por autos premium), ya contando con todo rechaza todos los seguros que te intenten agregar y especifica que solo quieres el de responsabilidad civil que ya viene incluido en la reserva por internet con cobertura de 350,000. Llevate los términos y condiciones de la reserva por internet porque lo primero que van a decir es que "así les aparece aquí". No compres el tanque de gasolina, es cierto que sale más barata aquí pero en mi caso querian cobrar un tanque de 57 litros cuando el carro que renté solo traia 39 litros, aparte nunca vas a entregar el tanque completamente vacío y con que le falte un cuarto ya te cobran el tanque completo, mejor llenale el tanque antes de entregarlo.
 This is a bargaining game. You win if you manage to get the car for the same price at which you reserved it on the internet. The prices in person are 2,500 pesos a day for the cheapest while on the internet the same car costs you 36 pesos a day. However, it is quite a challenge to get the car at that price due to all the insurance and pulls that they want to add. The best strategy is the following, reserve online, carry a card that includes car insurance (Amex does not have insurance for Mexico, so forget it) and that has credit available for at least 45k pesos for the security lock they make (it goes up to 65k for premium cars), already counting on everything, reject all the insurance that they try to add and specify that you only want the civil liability insurance that is already included in the online reservation with coverage of 350,000. Take the terms and conditions of the reservation online because the first thing they will say is that "it appears here." Do not buy the gas tank, it is true that it is cheaper here but in my case they wanted to charge a 57-liter tank when the car that I rented only had 39 liters, apart from that you will never deliver the tank completely empty and with a missing fourth they already charge you for the full tank, better fill the tank before delivering it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésimo servicio, te hacen venir desde donde estés teniendo una reservacion y al llegar te dicen que no hay disponibilidad y que ellos no te garantizan nada que si quieres pueden checar en otras ubicaciones que están cercanas. Atención nefasta, ni por teléfono te resuelven.
Terrible service, they make you come from where you are having a reservation and when you arrive they tell you that there is no availability and that they do not guarantee anything that if you want they can check in other locations that are nearby. Nefarious attention, they don't even solve you by phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place. We came in with a quote for 1700 MXN for a three day hire. When we walked out, the cost was about 5900 MXN because they had not told us about the cost for various insurances. We had no choice but to go with it but I will never use Hertz Mexico again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not rent from Hertz in Mexico - they will massively overcharge you, have terrible service and when you attempt to get clarity on their overcharging they will ignore your questions. Just stay away. I will no longer be renting from Hertz after this experience - I gave them more than a month to respond to my questions and concerns before posting this, they failed to respond.
