Total scam. I’ve rented 100’s of rental cars and this is the worst. Hidden charges. Car not available. You have to wait 1 hour because the car you reserved is not here, but we do have something 4 times more expensive available.

There was no costumer in the store, the guy was very distracted on the cell phone and told me it wasn’t possible to extend my reservation even check the price for the new one. The worst costumer service I have ever saw in a car rental. It happens today, hope the responsible for the store see this message and prepare this guy for next costumers.

DON'T RENT HERE. Hidden fees, worst service I've experience in years, crazy wait time (cars are kept at another place). A total scam. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Avoid at all costs. They confirmed availability of a full-size car just hours before I booked it on line. I arrived and was told that they didn't have my car class in the lot and I would have to pay extra to upgrade to a larger class. I asked what car class they had and they said it was a VW Jetta. I showed them my reservation that said I had book a VW Jetta and they stammered for a bit before saying "Oh, you booked a 2020 Jetta and we have a 2021 Jetta". As anyone who's ever rented a car, the model year of the car is never something you're able to specify — so this lie was especially rich. They wouldn't cancel my reservation and said I had to call Hertz Mexico and see if they would give me permission to get a refund – despite the fact that they refused to give me the car I paid for. I'm currently fighting it with the credit card company. I later learned that Hertz is different than Hertz Mexico and is not beholden to the same standards as Hertz.

Avoid, they steal your money. They added insurance and pretended I had no choice but pay them. They gave me an amount that didn’t match my card statement. They scam you. Go anywhere else.

Like other reviewers, I would give negative stars if I could. We booked a rental car through our airline for 17 days and picked up the car at the airport. We walked in and asked if we could return it here a little earlier than anticipated. The associate told us sure, but we should leave and come back at 3PM. We were like okay... there's no way that we could just return it now, or at least leave it here so that it can be processed at 3? Then he said he could take it now. Handed the keys to the person next to him, did some clicking around on his computer, and charged our card on file an additional $772 (after we'd already booked with our airline). He slid the receipt across the counter and said, "Okay. That's all. That's it. You can leave now." He then looked down at his phone again and started scrolling around. I didn't move from the counter since he'd printed the receipt in Spanish, which was okay-- I have a translating device, but I looked it over really quick which seemed to irritate him. He again said, "That's it. We're finished." I could tell we weren't going to get any answers to any of our questions, so my husband and I left. :( Unfortunately Hertz in Mexico has little to do with Hertz in the US... so we're completely screwed. Just be careful! Please do not go to this location if you can help it! And, in all honesty, do your rental car transactions COMPLETELY online in your company of origin.

We came in and the customer care representative told us that we don’t have to make a reservation and that they have cars and we can just come tomorrow. We came the next day and there was another customer care assistant named Joaquin, who told us that they were out of the cars and that he couldn’t do anything about that. And no matter if we are gold members or anything at all… That’s how they work. So, we went to Avis next door…
