Let’s first off say that their COVID precautions are a joke. They provide a complimentary COVID test before you leave, and as someone who has both received and administered the test hundreds of times, they conducted it wrong, sad because it’s so easy. While they are testing you, it’s in a small room crammed with people as they did not follow appointment times at all. They take your passport the entire time which was nerve wracking because they were just left on a desk. This all took well over 2 hours. If they aren’t going to keep people separate, follow appointment times, or heck even test right they should just not do this. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. Dining was very inconvenient and they utilized no sort of system. You could show up right at the opening of the restaurant and be told to come back in 2 hours or so. It made for a very non relaxing vacation. They have a ridiculous policy about not utilizing towels for excursions they beg you to book through them. To actually yell and rip towels out of a customers hand when they try and take 2 is insane. I have stayed at several other all inclusive resorts and never was this an issue. Not to mention their staff scheduling excursions did so in very unprofessional manners. As we were about to leave to go diving we were told our excursion was changed, the billing was confusing and we were oddly handed cash back. It was very unsettling to leave in a random taxi as opposed to with the dive company we thought we booked with. Would not recommend this resort whatsoever given I know there are other resorts in the area that people have enjoyed. I truly regret staying here it was not the vacation I was looking forward to and I did my thorough research beforehand. Hopefully this prevents someone else from having a disappointing vacation.

This is a great hotel and everyone who works there was amazingly pleasant. The location is right on the beach which is good. However the beach is littered with seaweed so not much beach swimming was done. But at an all-inclusive resort the pool is just fine (every pool as a bar). The only negative was the food. There really was no consistency with quality. Too be honest it was hit or miss.

This resort is awesome! My Butlers Fernando and Octavio took very good care of me from beginning to end. Paulina in guest services helped me get my passport back from the on-site testing facility in time to make my excursion and the food was outstanding. The best restaurants, all on-site, were Zen and Hunters Steak House. I miss everyone already and plan to go back in November.

If you're headed here then be ready for the fun. There's plenty to do with nightly entertainment, a variety of restaurants, daily activities, or just lay out and relax. I recommend scheduling an excursion to go offsite for ATV riding, touring, zip lining, or swimming in the cenote. The adults only section is perfect for getting away from the kids. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. I went with a large group of family and friends (16 adults) and we all had a great time. I only gave 4 stars because I wanted my roommate to experience the Diamond Club difference, but unfortunately I'd wasted my money on that upgrade because we received the same treatment as standard guests. But even if you want to do nothing except enjoy your own company, you can schedule a great spa and pampering session. Overall, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here from April 17th- April 23rd for our honeymoon! Our stay was great. The reason for the 4 stars is as follows: - the resort overall at glance looks great but if you look a little closer you’ll see it’s flaws. A lot of it is old/outdated & lots of wear. -chairs around the pool were hard to get as people wake up early (like 6/6:30) to reserve their seats. So I decided to wake up every morning and do the same. Some people will move your stuff and it feels wrong to be worrying about a chair at the pool like that. But everyday people didn’t have seats :/ -masks in the buffet area. It doesn’t really make sense that you don’t need one everywhere else at the resort, but need one here. We were hoping to get away from masks so a little disappointed with that as it logically does not make sense. I would like to thank Roddy at the pool for being so tentative to us and being so kind as well as Jesus!! Edgar at the grill at the buffet was the best as well as Kevin. You guys made the trip. The rest of the staff was also great!! All the food was great. We especially loved the Hunter steakhouse! We loved the variety at the buffet as well Our room was very clean and always cleaned. We appreciated that a lot! Thank you housekeepers! Next time we would get the swim out suite. I made the mistake of getting the jacuzzi on the terrace, we ended up with a horrible view of the mangroves and run down hotel next door. It was also smelly. It would definitely be worth it to get the personal swim out especially with the seating situation around the pool! This hotel is large so hideaway is quite the walk to the restraunt and such! We did not mind tho but just be aware! Overall the trip was the great and we had a wonderful time. Just a few minor things to know about!

The main reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of the view from my room. We had a jacuzzi on our balcony but the view of the balcony was just construction of the hotel next door. I would be extremely cautious of that. The food was decent. The NYE celebration with the bottle service and reservations was upsetting. A lot of good people work there, the service isn’t bad. You have to wake up early and reserve a spot at the beach or pool because they’re all taken by 9AM. I won’t be back again but I didn’t hate the resort, it could have been better.

Great resort and staff....everything went well for the entire week. We tried all except the Indian restaurant and they were all great. The sushi is typical sushi in Mexico no raw fish in anything at best there's smoked salmon. The buffet actually had raw tuna so not sure why it was not offered in the sushi restaurant. Buffet was impressive lots of options. And again the staff there are excellent, friendly and helpful. Hideaway is the adults side which is lovely.

We really could not have been more disappointed. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, etc. and they have all been much better than this one. They really just don't care about the guests and it showed from before we even arrived. They have a pre-arrival form to fill out ahead of time, and we sent it in a week before our trip...no response. I emailed again, with no response, and then called 10 times or so, with no satisfaction. I asked someone in my office to continue calling, and she finally got through, only to be transferred and then hung up on. When I asked to discuss this on arrival, they did not care. Now to our experience at the resort. The room was nice, but not up to the standards of a resort that claims to be 5-star. Upgrades are needed and better cleaning would be nice. The food is generally good, but most of the restaurants are first-come first-serve, which is fine except that the best ones are hard to get seated...get there early! Don't bother with room service! The food is limited, not very good, incredibly slow, and they can't seem to get the order right. Don't bother getting a room with the swim out pool, they are basically unusable. But do get a room on the adults-only side if you aren't bringing children, that is certainly worth the extra money. If/when you have problems or questions, there literally is not anyone that cares...they generally don't even answer the phones and if you go to see them, they can't help you. In conclusion, there are MANY other resorts that are better places to spend your hard earned money...I wouldn't waste it here.
