R	Raymond Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful natural place to visit outside Oaxaca on a day trip. We arranged a car with a private driver, just so we could be there as early as possible. This worked out great because we were there only with one other family who had a photo shoot. The pools are a bit smaller then expected and there were a lot of fences and tape to prevent people from entering prohibited areas... The walk down to the petrified waterfalls is not to hard as there are stairs all the way down. Okay, it stills causes heavy breathing and pearls of sweat. Overall worth the visit.
J	Joshua Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pure delight and beautiful, the pools waters are perfect for a swim or chill. Vistas - gorgeous, only 1 of 2 in the entire world of a petrified waterfall. Takes a bit of time to get there, out and up but fantastico! Lots of kioskos with fresh ? juice chilled beers and food at the top. Luke paradise, bring sunblock and swim suit, sun is blazing up there, swim up to the edge of the world. Very cool place.
A	Andrea A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning ⚠️ the road is unpaved and narrow two way. It’s way high up and sometimes one has to back down to let another pass. If you are afraid of heights or get anxiety easily you may want to close your eyes the whole way up and down for about 20ish minutes. After that it’s regular dirt road and passing two “check points” where they charge 25 and 50 pesos separately. Then one parks and on to the beautiful petrified water fall. We were shown around by a guide and it was based on tips. It’s basically made up of two parts. Small pools one can wade and swim in. To see the waterfall form you must hike many many steps down to catch a good view. We went later on in the day and there were less people. It is also windy and cold and don’t expect the water to be warm. after wading around in one get used to it. there are plenty shops to get any last minute purchases ( i got a rebozo, type of scarf, for 150 pesos)
C	Camille Delamare on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for sightseeing, to go up by yourself from Mitla, you'll pay 65 pesos of transport, 15 pesos of the enter of territory and 50 pesos for entrance to the site. You can bath in one of the pool but the best part is to go down and make the one hour hike !
T	Tim Paris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the fun is in the trip. Fun 40 minutes on way trip with legal highway robbery when taking up the road. The road is a dirt path with a lot of bumps you take while being 13 inside the back of a collectivo. Same (Without the small robbery) the other way. The site, is well... Quite a sight. The pictures speaks for themselves. The little hike to see the waterfall from below is nice as well. Especially since you can reward yourself with the cool water of the pools nearby

j	jim pap on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. It's unique as it's the one of two places in the world with calcified waterfalls (great other one is in pamukale in Turkey). The road to reach it is an easy dirt road that goes up and down the mountain with some traffic. The payment is very small for something like that! The view and the cold water are exceptional! Highly recommended for all ! It's worth the trouble!
C	Christina Yim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view here is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! My son and I had a blast. The pools and hiking trails are serene. The ride up and down the mountain is beautiful, but it's also long and bumpy. It definitely reminds me of something out of a movie. You'll pass by so many little villages within Oaxaca. The experience altogether is very photo worthy :)
