En muchas ocasiones se utiliza como sinónimo de la Ortopedia pero es un término poco correcto ya que la Ortopedia no abarca las enfermedades de tipo traumático. La Traumatología se centra en diagnosticar, tratar, rehabilitar y prevenir enfermedades y lesiones del sistema músculo-esquelético. A diferencia del reumatólogo, el traumatólogo puede ofrecer una visión diferente de la lesión ya que su finalidad es tratar quirúrgica y ortopédicamente las lesiones o anomalías de tendones, huesos y articulaciones.

PÉSIMO SERVICIO AL CLIENTE. Si así son desde recepción no me imagino los médicos.
