Always a fabulous stay at Midtown Jalisco. The staff is always attentive, helpful, friendly and professional. Great restaurants at the mall. Feels very safe, a lot of security agents at the mall. You'll find cheaper prices outside the Midtown complex of course. A great place for your first visit to Mexico or GDL to "get your feet wet" and practice your Spanish speaking! Many bi-lingual (English-Spanish) speakers working at the hotel and restaurants at the mall. Not so much once you hit the street though lol. Neighborhoods and stores within easy walking distance. Taxis are cheap. (I don't know why Americans squabble about a few extra pesos here and there.) Dating in Mexico is fantastic! Mexico was very sane in their handling of the COVID nonsense and that means A LOT! Can't wait to return next month for my birthday!

Great Hotel. Probably will not find a better one in GDL based on location, quality, cleanliness, staff friendliness, etc. At least I can say it's the best Hilton one in GDL as I've stayed at other Hilton's/Hampton's in GDL and the Midtown is the best.

Hi marks for location and look and feel of this hotel. Connected to shopping and restaurants...but pricey...you are paying US prices in this area for most of the shopping and eating, but still very fun, clean and safe. What's odd about this hotel is that you have to take an elevator to get to the lobby, which feels odd and doesn't set the ambiance well.

The Hilton Midtown Guadalajara comes pretty close to perfection (and I don't use that work lightly). Professional and competent employees, great amenities, consistency and predictability, recognition of my HHonors status - I literally can't think of anything that could have been better during my one-week stay (and other visits before this one). Can't wait to visit again!

Reseña en español debajo del inglés. Hilton has three hotels listed for Guadalajara. This is by far the most expensive. I have stayed here and when making the reservation All the amenities listed when booking and choosing the room at the more expensive executive level were not available after entering the room. No executive lounge, no canapes, no cocktails, no mini bar, just regular room. Could have paid half as much by just booking a regular room. When bringing it up to hotel staff my girlfriend received a free club sandwich. Beware of this when making a reservation here. I should have checked the reviews here. I see others who have had the same exact issue. My advice book the cheap room and just pay for what you use. It doesn't look like it when booking but You will save a lot of money. It doesn't the staff makes any adjustments when finding errors. Except some kind of discount. We received a Club Sandwich for several hundred dollars in price difference in the rooms. Review reply: Sorry Hilton. I am not going fill out any more surveys. I have looked through your review replies and they look like an auto reply. The hotel was notified during the stay. The staff felt that the several hundred more I spent for amenities was equal to a club sandwich. The desk kept saying I booked with Expedia. I booked through Amextravel and couldn't understand where I booked would make a difference. Unless of course the staff took it as I was trying to be cheap. (I have since found out that Amextravel in fact works with Expedia.) I had a choice of Three Hilton's and picked the more expensive. Then when choosing a room I again picked the more expensive that was to include many amenities. You are charging for them. I have already responded to a Hilton survey and I received an email from an Asst. Manager that I try the Hotel again in the future. It's a nice hotel. My issue was I went through the process and specifically chose and paid more to receive more. It is the equivalent of ordering a Filet Mignon and getting served a hamburger but still paying for the Filet Mignon.

I have been staying here at the hotel for 5 days now and my experience has been subpar. This is the worst service I’ve had at any Hilton hotel across the globe. I have asked cleaning service to clean my room for 4 days now and they continue to lie that they changed my bed sheets that have had the same stain in the corner since I’ve arrived. All they have done is make my bed. They do not bring towels, shampoo or conditioner. Everyday I have to call and ask for the room essentials. I have spoken to the front desk and head of cleaning & they continue to not mend the situation, after promising they would. At breakfast I overheard a woman complaining she came back to her room after a long day of work & her room wasn’t cleaned as well. This seems to be a recurring issue. At the afternoon social hour, the pool workers were rude trying to charge me for a beverage that was included with my stay as a Diamond Member. They also said I needed to leave the pool area to go to social hour downstairs, because supposedly it’s only downstairs. I reconfirmed with the manager at the front desk and he confirmed it is downstairs & by the pool area. The manager was cordial about my concerns, however, it’s ridiculous that this service has continued to go on for 5 days. I hope my stay improves these last 2 days because I’m extremely dissatisfied with Midtown Hilton’s service.

Extremely disappointed! My wife's purse was stolen with her phone in it by the pool area in broad daylight! Be careful and aware of your surroundings and never get too comfortable. I felt so secure and laid back until this happened! Staff and management did terrible in helping resolve the situation. Very dissapointed!

Great location. Really nice hotel. It has an executive feel but it was great for our family trip. My 3yo enjoyed playing in the mall's food court which is mostly open between 11am and 8:30pm. We were able to stock our mini-fridge by buying in the supermarket within the mall called Fresko. Keep in mind the hotel validates the mall's parking ticket to get a cheaper daily rate. Also, it takes 5-7 min and two elevators to get from the ground floor to your room on the other end of the building.
